Get an A in ALL time mode levels.

Time mode usually isn't very hard. This is because you can pick up little clocks that add time. The last level of driving school is probably the most difficult for part one. However, if you have done Fuel mode first your handling should be better and you should be familiar with the route.

By far, the most difficult level for this is level 2 of Pizza. The good news is there are no hazards like missiles, UFOs or billboards. The bad news is you need to run it nearly flawlessly while picking up almost all of the clocks, including the second 10sec one on the opposite side of the planet to your starting point. It's also hard because although there are four goals (2 orbiting and 2 attached to the planet) the order of these changes each time. I suggest just restarting if it doesn't start with one of the two closest to you.

On most levels, do not go out of your way for clocks unless there are multiple ones.

Note: There are a few levels on Challenge mode that have clocks; do not get them as they actually subtract time.
