This achievement can be one of the most annoying of the entire game. This will help you save a little frustration.
Before coming up to this event make sure you have one of your characters Shadows at Level 6 for the Barrier Class, this will give you the Field Barrier 1 skill. Now what this does is that you simply run into an enemy and it will kill it. This will enable you to move around quicker and you won't have to bother with the fights, this does cost MP when you kill an enemy so make sure you keep your MP up if you have too.
As soon as the event begins enable this skill and follow this for mob locations:
Start
Before 2nd Corner
Fat Rat -Left Front of Wagon
After 2nd Corner
Fat Rat - Right Middle of Wagon
Before 1st Chest
Fat Rat - Left Middle of Wagon
Steel Tiger - Right Middle of Wagon
In first Boulder area (as you remove last boulder)
Fat Rat - Left Front of Wagon
Fat Rat - Right Middle of Wagon
1st Corner after boulder section
Fat Rat - Left Back of Wagon
Fat Rat - Right Middle of Wagon
Steel Tiger - Left Front of Wagon
In 2nd Boulder section

It is possible to complete this without the barrier;
1) Make sure you save to a seperate slot right before the wagon escort mission.
2) Crimson drifter has a pretty good number guide here, but the second to last one, it can be extremely difficult to get the back wagon without the front rat getting in the way. If this happens to you kill the first rat, then take out the back rat, then run between the wagons and cut the tiger off at the pass.
If you are quick enough you can get to the tiger before he charges. On my last try, I was RIGHT in front of the tiger as he charged at the wagon.
3) When you can use the RT to attack the enemy quicker. This is also an absolute necessity for the last two fat rats. Make sure to get them in the same ring.

A bit off topic but, if this achievement is skipped on a playthrough does it lock you out of any further achievements? It's frustrating me and I just want to move on and play. I have a second save right before If I want it later. But if I continue forward on this save I want to make sure I don't lose out on anything for taking 1 hit?

(All views are if you were driving the front cart)
First Wave is 1 mob at the left front cart.
Second Wave is 1 mob at the right middle.
Third Wave is 2 mobs, get the center left first, then run between the carts and get the center right.
Fourth Wave is 2 mobs, after you push the rocks down, get the front left, then the front right.
Fifth Wave is 3 mobs, go left rear for 1, run behind the cart to the right side middle to get 2, then run between the carts to the left towards the front to get the final mob.
Sixth Wave is 3 mobs, get the front left first, then run to get the front right, then immediately behind that to the middle right for the last mob (Some people may find it easier to use the encounter circle for the last two).
Lastly, push the final rock down to spawn two mobs in front of you, use the encounter circle.

I found on wave 6 that pushing the last rock down well ahead of the carts made it easier to grab the front left, run round the front of the wagon and hit the front right and back right (directions as if driving cart). Took me 5 goes just to get wave 6 right.
