How to unlock the All Rounder achievement in Blur - Definitive Guide
This achievement is in three parts:
1- Win a race in any playlist (Multiplayer)
This one is easy, you will get it by playing normally through the game. You will get it at the same time that winning an hardcore race anyway.
2-Win a Race in Hardcore Racing (Multiplayer)
This is the hard part of the achievement. To unlock Hardcore racing you must be at least level 15 (online) , Hardcore racing is a normal race without power-ups. I suggest getting good at the game and play normal races to unlock better cars. There is less than 20 people playing this mode almost all the time, so wait for 6-10 people playing at the same time to max out your chances. Starting first will give you a chance, and if your car is good enough, you can escape for the whole race. DO NOT OVERTURN, just brake while taking turns, that's when you will be able to pass people that overturn, so don't miss that opportunity. Sometimes, a very good player will win every races because he has better cars, I suggest trying again later. Also, if you have a buddy living in the same country/part of the continent, it's useful to know that you can select a filter "playing against my region only" (Thanks to Perasnovitch).
3-Be on the winning side in a team Event (Multiplayer)
This one is easy, I got it on my first try. Just play a team event (when there is enough people) and win. Your team needs to win, you don't need to be first, but getting a good place will help your team for sure!
Hardcore racing is very hard, so just keep on trying.(requires skills and a bit of luck)
Hope this helps!

If you want to add that to your solution. If you have buddy living in the same country/part of the continent, its useful to know that you can select a filter "playing against my region only" When I choose that option I can't find anybody aside my friend in Canada and some East coaster of the US. Its easier to boost it like that for the hardcore win.

Nowadays apart from the Skirmish Game Mode, the online for this game is dead, so if you want a good chance in getting this achievement, you will likely need to boost it.
For some of the game modes required for this achievement, you will need at least 4 people in order for the game mode's time limit to start ticking down to 0. However as a recommendation I would suggest having around 6 to 8 people just in case some people have connections issues or other problems.
In order for you to access some of the game modes for this achievement, you will need to be at least Level 15 for them to unlock. However if someone in a group is Level 15 or over, they can invite anyone in a party or on their friends list to join the lobby, and they will be able to participate even if they are Level 15 or under.
There are 3 requirements you need to do in order to get this achievement, but you can work on 2 of them at the same time if need be. The other requirement has to be done separately.
Requirement 1: Win A Race In Any Playlist: This is easy, it just requires you to win a race in any of the game modes. You can work on this requirement the same time as Requirement 2 or 3.
Requirement 2: Win A Race In Hardcore Mode: Hardcore Mode is a race without using power-ups. This game mode is never popular and even if randoms do join the lobby, chances are that they will leave because they don't like the fact that no power-ups are available at their disposal. Unfortunately only 1 person can win a Hardcore Race at a time, so the boosting method for this game mode would be to take turns winning a race. A suggestion when doing this game mode is to vote for the smallest and quickest race tracks to get this done quicker. When the race begins, decide who is going to win and make sure you all keep track of who has/hasn't won a race.
Requirement 3: Be On A Winning Side In A Team Event: The easiest game mode to achieve this is to do a Team Racing. When you search in the Team Race event you will automatically be assigned to one of the two teams. As long as everyone stays on those teams, no one will be swapped over. The way this game mode works is whichever team has the most players out in a certain position will likely become the overall winners of the race. You don't have to be in 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc, as long as your team reaches a respectful position and the bar on the top left of the screen is more than your opponent. The boosting method is simple. Complete 2 races and let one team be in the lead than the other team. Swap over roles in the 2nd race.
Random Players
If a random player joins whilst a race is going on or in the lobby, the best method is to wait and see if they're going to quit and if more randoms join or the random player is too skilled then everyone needs to back out of the lobby and return to the menu for a few moments. That way they should get the idea that they are not wanted and will not participate.
Another recommendation as well is to set your XBox Live Online Preference to Offline. By doing this the randoms players cannot "Join Your Session In Progress" using the button.
Once you have completed all 3 of the requirements, this achievement will unlock. Hope this helps.
