How to unlock the Making a name for yourself achievement in Blur - Definitive Guide

While racing, you will see a floating up arrow sign on the track. This signals the start of a Fan Run challenge. Make it through all the gates that appear until the end of the run to nab this achievement.

You Get this Achievement by doing the following You will see Emblem That looks liek a Flag with an Arrow just Floating Somewhere on the Track, all you have to do is Drive over it and Go through Each one of the Gold Gates, and Following those there is a Green one, once you go through the green one it will say "Fan Run Complete" than now you will see the achievement pop up!

There is one Fan Run on each track and the beginning to it looks like the icon for the achievement.

Drive through this icon to begin the Fan Run, a series of orange gates will appear on the track for you to pass between in order without missing any until you reach the end via the Green gate.

Now you are timed so be quick BUT you cannot miss a gate or the run is cancelled, you know you have completed the Fan Run as 'Fan Run Complete' will appear on your screen.

The simplest Fan Run is located in the first event of Career in 'Proving Grounds' on the track 'Barcelona Oval'.

The Fan Run is located 30seconds into the race on the left path taken where the track splits, the icon is on the right. There are 12 gates to pass through.

Fan runs are first started during a race where you find a bouncing orange square. This begins the fan run, you will start going through orange gates. The closer you are to the final green gate, it will make a higher note chime once you go through the gate. You must pass through each gate until you reach the final green gate or you will fail the Fan Run.

There are a total of 54 Fan Runs found in the Single Player, each event has 6 race gametypes that include a Fan Run. Fan Runs are first started during a race where you find a bouncing orange square with an arrow inside of it. This begins the Fan Run, you will start going through orange gates. The closer you are to the final green gate, it will make a higher note chime once you go through the gate. You must pass through each gate until you reach the final green gate. You will fail a Fan Run if you run out of time or miss a gate.
