Go find a partner to help you out. Two ways to do this:
1. Let your partner stand right behind you and each of you contribute one hand.
2. Or just ask your partner to watch you play and press guide button when you're in danger, to give you some time to figure out how to escape.
The first method works better if you are not getting kinect detection issues, otherwise use the second method, which needs more practice.
