How to unlock the Beat the street achievement in Bodycount - Definitive Guide

All Bodycount Siege mode maps have an exploit, please see map specific solution within each achievement.

The exploit for Streets siege is easy to do but it leaves your account/player that is going to stay alive out in the open and vulnerable slightly hidden away on a ledge.

first look for this building which is in the corner of the map were the canal ways meet:

Then instead of going down the stairs next to the building which lead to the canal waters and a weapons container below, jump on the ledge to the left of the stairs and jump into the balcony just below another balcony and slightly "hidden" away from the AI, crouched in this locations all enemies in the vicinity not engaged with the other player should crowd down underneath the ledge the account/player that is going to stay alive is on, the AI are easy pickings from here.

I would not recommend engaging the enemy until they are under the ledge or at least around the corner from the barrier they jump over to enter the map, this is due to the fact that i thought it would be easier to engage them as soon as the hoped the metal barrier but when they get dogged down there they start to crouch and then "spot" the account/player on the ledge to their left sometimes, the image below shows the view that the "hidden" player will have, the "hidden" player may need to protect themselves.

The sieges can get quite difficult in later waves

On all the sieges (except 'Militarized Compound'), my partner and I struggled until we found a good camping spot.

On this siege, an extremely good camping spot is the third floor of the large restaurant-type building (which you entered in the campaign).

One partner crouches at the top of the stairs (so as not to get shot in the back from outside) and deals with enemies trying to come up (who almost all run up from the left of the stairs, and expose their backs to you for an easy kill), and the other stays on the balcony picking off as many guys as possible who approach, retreating into the weapon pickup room when hurt.

We were able to get through this on the first try using this spot.

1st weapon unlock: CQB45
2nd weapon unlock: G36
3rd weapon unlock: Minimi

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but me and my buddy keep getting booted from this map when we're about 5-6 waves in. We didn't have this trouble with pirate bay or military compound. It just seems to be this and mine.

This is a co-op mission; the Street siege is the “Xuchung Streets” level. To get this trophy you will have to complete wave 20. During co-op missions a new gun becomes available every 5 rounds (a waypoint shows you where the guns are). These guns are always better than your starting weapons and these guns are critical for the success of the mission. Upgrading your guns cost a small amount of intel but it is always critical to pick up the round 10 and round 15 guns. Each level has different guns suited for the map and they are invaluable for the players to complete the 20 rounds. Below is the list of guns for this particular map.

-Round 5: CQB. 45 - hand gun
-Round 10: G36 - assault rifle
-Round 15: MINIMI - light-machine gun

Strategy: There is a large three story building in the corner opposite the canal and the pool area. It’s the same building you had a huge battle in during the single player campaign. This is your "Alamo." The way this building is laid out there are only two possible entrance points, and the enemies only use the front entrance 99% of the time. The 3rd floor is your haven. If you or your partner dies the surviving player should always run to the 2nd room on the 3rd floor. The same room with the weapon upgrade in it. It will keep you safe for the 13 seconds it takes your partner to respawn.

The plan here is to have one person guarding the 2nd to 3rd floor stairwell. Always have mines here as well. This person will be able to kill enemies from the 2nd or 3rd floor, wherever they’re most comfortable. The other player (the point player, hopefully the better shooter) should stay on the 2nd floor balcony and kill enemies as they spawn from the pool area and to their right, from the building next to the canal. This point player should let the other player know if any enemies got past him and are coming into the building, he should also alert of any “Heavies” that spawn. This 2nd floor balcony will be constantly contested by multiple enemies. The point player will more than occasionally need to fall back to the 3rd floor to regroup. His partner will have to pick up the slack here. There will be occasions when you are being shot but have no idea where the shooters are. The shooters are more than likely on the bottom level shooting up though the floor and walls. Just keep moving when this happens.

This level’s special enemies include both suicide bombers and armored enemies. As always take out the bombers from afar. Armored enemies are a nuisance, not only because of the armor but because they love to sit back and shoot at you from a distance and from behind cover. Remember when fighting “Heavies” to use your “explosive ammo” by pressing on the d-pad.
