The Antipope is the final boss on the final level of Act II.
When you reach this level be prepared to have all of your skill/item/spell cards stripped from you leaving you as you were when you first started the game. The cards will be scattered across the map and you will need to go and recollect them to advance to the Antipope area.
Be warned that each time you recollect a card, 2 or 3 creatures will be spawned. So I wouldn't grab too many at any one time to keep the swarm down while you are weakened. The cards will not be returned to what you normally have set in the speed bar. So make sure to set this before getting to the boss once you collect all your cards.
The final battle itself wasn't too hard in itself. Each phase of the Antipope he will spawn a veritable army of creatures as well as some that are linked with the Antipope that will need to be defeated before more damage can be done to the Antipope. The worse thing of this battle is the double freeze blast that the Antipope shoots out in a straight line towards you and does a fair amount of damage. It doesn't move too fast so shouldn't be too hard to avoid.
Majority of the other creatures spawned can be killed in 1 or 2 hits. So AOE will work fairly well here. Stay on the move and try not to get pinned into a corner. Beware of the status effects like poison and freezing that will happen fairly often.
