How to unlock the Capped Out…For Now achievement in Borderlands 2 - Definitive Guide

Reach level 50 with one of your characters. If you're starting with a fresh character, you most likely will not unlock this until your second playthrough.

If you already have this achievement on the Xbox 360, then you can unlock this achievement by transferring over your level 50+ character, and then gaining another level. This will unlock all of the level up achievements (Reach level 5, 10, 25, and 50). I had transferred over my level 56 Axton, and when I reached level 57, all 4 achievements popped, so I can confirm that this definitely works.

Apparently the achievement will also pop if you join a friend's lobby with a character that's the required level for the achievement. I can't confirm it myself, but ELBaRTii in the comments below said that's how it unlocked for him. If leveling up your character one more time is too time consuming/difficult, then this method should make things much easier.

I imported my Overpower 4 character, which is level 72+4 ... this means, the only way for me to level up is to play that Digistruct gauntlet, which can be very hard.
But when a friend (level 8) invited me, while I was in the main menu, all of the level-specific achievements (level 5, 10, 25, 50) unlocked as soon as I joined his lobby (still in the main menu!).

If you're playing side-by-side with the Xbox 360 version, you can save and exit in the 360 version right before you hit level 50 and upload your character. Download it in the XB1 version, and then play until you level up in both versions. If you miss the chance and level up before uploading your character, the XB1 version will not retroactively unlock this achievement upon loading up the character. You have to level up in-game to retroactively pop it. I got the achievement at level 51 in the XB1 version.

Reaching level 50 will take you at least 1½/2 whole playthroughs of the game. Simply completing one playthrough will get you to around level 30-35. Unless you play a lot more coop with higher levels, then you may be a little more.

Once you've reached these levels, you'll be pretty close if not at the end of the game and the XP will be small and sweet. This now means you need to move onto your 2nd playthrough with the same character.

The XP you gain now in this playthrough will be more worth it. You should reach level 50 at 3,429,728 XP and about ½ if not at the end of your 2nd playthrough.

A quick way is to start new game +.
Let me explain. I myself completed the main game with 40 lv. Started playing the DLC. Completed 2 DLCs and raised 3 levels. I tried it with a partner, he was 52 lv, but the result was very weak. Having started the game + I immediately began to gain experience for missions from 11k experience min at the beginning, more for main missions. And the further you go in the story, the greater the rewards for missions. I went from 1 to 13 of the story mission (reserve) and, in addition to another side effect, I raised it from 43lv to 48. It was easier for me to raise the remaining levels.

A very interesting way to level up a secondary character (2nd joystick), however, provided that you have purchased the “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate`s Booty” add-on, have an online friend and Sirena above lvl 17 (with the Rise skill in the Harmony branch). After completing the storyline in the expansion, you will receive a task - to kill the final boss again, after which two other bosses Hyperius the invincible and master Gee the Invincible will become available to you. And then you need to complete the following steps. 1. On the main joystick, select the hero you want to make immortal, on the 2nd joystick, select Siren 2. Stand as Siren right behind your main character (he must have his shield removed and a grenade launcher weapon installed) 3. A friend stands opposite not far (in the field visibility of the Siren), also without a shield and with a grenade launcher. 4. You shoot first at your feet, after 2 seconds a friend shoots; immediately with the Siren we hold down the square on the “main one” to the end, and on the other use the skill L2 (raise life with your hand). 5. Cured yourself - became immortal - Go to the bosses, every time you are killed - on the 2nd joe +100 xp, and THEY will kill you many times!!))) P.S. You can put it throughout the entire game))) when you reboot (to a friend, etc.), the above-described immortality disappears!

The best way to level up is by playing online on hard mode. When searching for games, you will be given a list of players with your level + - 1-3 levels. Choose the one that is 2-3 more and move on. On average, in an hour with a good game and players, 1-1.5 levels are filled, but if someone with level 60-71 enters the game (as was the case for me), then in an hour you can knock out up to 3-4 levels.

And if you want to finish the remaining levels yourself (at the end of the game I was level 40), then turn on the mod and level up only on quests . It takes longer on enemies, and additional quests average 16-17K. Well, there are more storylines, of course.

The first tip is relevant mainly for ps3.... on ps4 if you connect a second joystick, he will log in under a different profile and he will have his own heroes and trophies will fall to another account.

This can only be done by two people online. We connect a person with a low level to a person with a high level - and he will pull through. The first one can stupidly stand on the respawn and get exp.
