Vanquished the Ancient Dragons of Destruction

How to unlock the Make it Raaaaaid achievement in Borderlands 2 - Definitive Guide

You have to kill Tiny Tina's Raid boss which is really easy with a level 50 character.
First you have to finish all the DLC missions all story missions so this becomes available or if someone already completed the quest you can just kill the raid boss, NO ACTIVE QUEST is needed. (I got it like this)

Then you can fast travel to the Lair of infinite Agony and then run towards the Winged storm (Pay some eredium) and enter to fight the boss.

Why this is easy and very doable solo, unlike Terramorphous and some other bosses the dragon never get past lvl 35 * After the last patch, the Dragon will go to Level 40 on Normal. Still a lvl 50 character can take them down really fast + you are never attacked by all 4 at the same time.

This is composed of 4 dragon.

Corrotion
Shock
Fire ( He will sometimes cover himself in a shield and become invinsible while the floor gets lit up on fire)
Slag

Don't bother trying to hit them while airborne, they will eventually land and become easy targets for headshot, so don't waste ammo.

I got it in less then 3 min with my lvl 61 Assassin.

You forgot one maybe obvious detail, the play through has to be set to normal for it to be as easy as you say smile

You just have to complete the story and fake geek guy to get the raid mission. Not every mission.

You might want to change that the dragons won't go over lv 35. I went in at lv 36 and all of them were lv 40 on normal.

@MrGT08 I'll get into the game later and confirm it. I knew an update was released recently, didn't know it will change raid bosses level.

Nice guide, I struggled to done this at lvl 40, but it was no problem with a lvl 50 character on solo.

Killed the dragons with my imported character from the 360 version, achievement didn't unlock. I'll try with my main guy, but I'll need to level up more as I did the dlc on tvhm and they are way too strong for me now

I'm a level 52 and the dragons were all level 53. Get your info correct. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed going in there only to get wrecked after expecting your post to be accurate.

The solution should read 'Complete all main story missions', plus side mission 'fake Geek Guy'.

You'll then have to complete Torgue's 'Fake Geek Guy' to collect the 'Raid Boss' From 'Torgue' which will allow you to collect the final raid boss mission 'Raiders of the Last Boss'. He'll be in Flamerock refuge, in the stocks.

If you cannot cope, arrange a session & I'll help out on my OP10 character. Any boss basically dies immediately ('Master Gee' will require me getting a weapon out of storage to kill him/Alkaline Shield as well.)

I'm in the UK, so a time suitable please, not 4:00 am because you cannot work out time differences from where you may be on the planet.

For those of you struggling, ask someone with an OP10 character to slaughter them for you. I spent a long time finding every perfect variant of each gun and every class mod in the game, so believe me when I say I know what I'm talking about.

My Gunzerker for example will kill the final boss in the last segment of the last dlc before he effectively has time to spawn in. It has the best guns/class mods on it and kills everything in a couple of shots....or a single shot!

So if you are struggling, ask someone to help rather than complain about why your character isn't good enough. Either that or rank your character up, find better weapons or study some Youtubers videos to see what gear will kill a boss you are struggling with.

The easy version is invite an OP10 character that's kitted out with perfect gear to wallop anything in your 'normal' game.

I'm not in a position to help as I'm not using my console atm due to training, but with a little planning and a code for XBL I can help anyone kill all the bosses in the game in a straightforward manner. Basically, get to the boss, fire me an invite and I'll kill it for you.

I've a Borderland blog entry to remind me what weapons are on saves etc that can be duplicated. Be normal, be polite and I can duplicate you some of my ultra-rare drop items.

Don't ask for modified gear, or leveling up a character in 10 seconds as none of my gear or saves are modified.

I hardly use my console now as i'm back to being a contractor.

The other solution didn't work for me. I went to the Lair and couldn't get to the raid boss. After doing some research this is how I got to kill the dragons.

First I completed the campaign. I then went to Mr. Torgue in the starter town to pick up the quest "Raiders of the Last Boss". He will only give this to you if you completed "Fake Geek Guy" from him already.

Pick up the quest:

Now head to the Lair of Infinite Agony (if you completed the campaign you know where this is) and head to this location on the map:

Donate some Eridium to this guy, the wall behind him will vanish and you can go for the dragon.

I'll make the solution look a bit more pretty later! I wanted to get it out there quickly. :)

The Ancient Dragons are the easiest raid boss of the original four DLCs, for the fact that they, unlike those in the base game and other DLCs, are set to the highest max level for your current playthrough. If you have a level 50 character, drop back to playthrough one and they'll only spawn at level 30, weak enough that you can defeat all four without extra players.

To gain access to this quest, you must first have completed the main story. Mr. Torgue is the quest giver. He should be in the stocks back at the front of Flamerock Refuge across from the fast travel. You may need to complete his prerequisite side quest "Fake Geek Guy" if you haven't already. There is a statue located on the lower levels of the Lair of Infinite Agony. It requires 20 Eridium to activate and reveal the entrance to the Raid Boss area. If you're attempting this quest on TVHM or above it is strongly recommended that you bring friends. There are four dragons (one of each elemental type):

  • Step 1 - Kill the Electric Dragon. It has the ability to heal the other dragons which should make it a top priority.
  • Step 2 - Kill the Fire Dragon. Whenever it lands it can light parts of the ground on fire. This can prove to seriously cause a problem if you are low on health.
  • Step 3 - Kill the Corrossive Dragon. It is slighter more difficult to kill than the Slag Dragon as it does more damage to you and spawns in basilisks.
  • Step 4 - Kill the Slag Dragon. This dragon is by far the easiest and will just take a good amount of bullets to kill.

This is easier on Playthrough One as each of the dragons are level 38.

The mission with dragons will be available after completing the campaign of this add-on. And also before it you need to complete the side quest “Fake Geek Guy”, which Mr. Torgue will give you. Which is a kind of test for going to the bosses.

Passage to the location with dragons "The Winged Storm" through the location "Lair Of Infinity Agony". It is necessary to place 20 eridium on the statue of the sorcerer.
