To view unlocked locations (on XBOX) go to the map, and press the Y button to view from ORBIT, and then select the location and press LS (the left analog stick) to view progress

This achievement includes the following areas (with the amount of locations at each area in brackets):
-Meridian Outskirts (3)
-Meridian Metroplex (6)
-Lectro City (8)
-Skywell-27 (8)
-Atlas HQ (9)
-Neon Arterial (6)
-The Forgotten Basin (2)
-Cistern of slaughter (1) - accessible from Meridian Metroplex AND not story related

I’ve got 8/9 on Atlas HQ, my whole map is blue. Anyone know what I could be missing?

Best initial suggestion i can give is to rotate the map with the right analog stick up/down to see if any levels/floors of these maps show areas that have been missed or overlooked

Scotty x360a how did you get that to come up? I’ve left and re entered a few times and even sat my character in the last area for roughly 10 min and no name popped up. This is the only location I am missing on Promethea.

Edit: This totally works for those who are stuck! Just got the achievement as well, thanks for the info Scotty x360a.

Having the same problem as scotty and soldier above... When you say to enter and exit a few times, do you mean go back and forth between the forgotten basilica and neon arterial?

OhMyGoth- you need to enter from Forgotten Bascialla and then travel towards the front of the map just before you hit the part where it goes up. If it doesn’t show up as “Area Discovered” then fast travel to the station there and try again. It took me 5 times to get it to finally say it and register.

A Batwoman- to answer your question no, you need to click on each world and click in the left joy stick, that will tell you how many locations you have, then you can figure out which ones you are missing.

Yeah what i did was leave through the map portal and not fast traveling, then returned a few times. then went to an area to trigger the name to come up, then returned to the glitched area and just did this kind of stuff a few times and it eventually triggered. sorry i can't be more specific its all just about forcing the game to recognize the area you enter. So maybe just covering the entire area to see if it only triggers from certain points is also an option.

Ultimately though, its just buggy it seems.

anybody have an issue where after clearing the map so it is all blue, and leaving the area when you return there will be areas on the map will be greyed out again? I have this happen to me everytime I return to the Meridian Outskirts as I am trying to find the last tycho log I need to complete the crew challenge in the area, will this affect me getting the achivement?

@anoldfarmtool - You need Cistern of Slaughter it's in Meridian Metroplex in the middle of the map it's a transition area. This has a quest inside this area for the slaughter waves.

Pretty much most of the Slaughter locations are in a blue arrow area.

This was buggy for me in a good way. I've only just got to Desolations Edge and it popped had 5/9 locations there and haven't been to all of the circles of slaughter.

Got 43/43 on 4/28/20 and it didn't unlock. Did it all in one sitting without closing the game as well. I also wasn't able to unlock the Pandora locations achievement either so it appears that these two if not all location achievements are somewhat broken still. Lets hope for a quick update fix if that's the case.

Yeah. The update screwed most of the areas achievements. Pandora is broken. I even walked all over the planet again, discovered every area again and still no achievement, so don't bother. Nekrotafeyo seems to not be broken, the achievement unlocked for me.

Yeah, same here. I discovered all 43/43 locations on the same game save. It appears the last update has broken this achievement, and afew other location based ones.

Didn't pop, like all the other location cheeves. Started a new game and played through it after trying other recommended fixes. Didn't pop second time through either.

So I finally got the achievement to pop. For some reason the game simply doesn't save your previous discovered locations, and the only way to fix it is to use the powerpyx location guide. You have to find all location in one sitting. It's a pain, but if you've already completed all the missions, you'll encounter practically no resistance. Just run from one location to another until the achievement pops.

im somehow missing 1 in neon arterial. are there any hidden areas here? its a small linear map and ive been through it twice now going into every corner

EDIT: Ive gone through a third time now and this must be glitchy. I've checked every single area of the map, not a shred of grey left over. Unless there is a hidden area, this must be glitchy

EDIT 2: I found it, it was just the final area where you fight the promethians, for whatever reason it wouldn't register for me, so i entered/exited a few times and generally just hung around the area and eventually it triggered.

There is a small area in boom town in devils razor I think the map is. Head in and from the gate go to the back left of the area, there is a small shack / tent there that is named.

I fininshed the game with 43/43 and nothing unlocked but my co-op partner's cheevo had popped. I couldn't get the running around in the Forgotten Basilica method to work so I created a new character and had my co-op partner host while I rediscovered everything. It popped right when it was supposed to, along with the one for unlock all achievements.

I know its a bit of a faff but that's how I got it to work for me so if anyone else is struggling, I suggest they try that!

Correct ... just the named locations. If you could teleport to a spot in those areas that would cause the name to pop, you could just have those spots uncovered. That said, that's not possible, so there'll absolutely be a lot of the map uncovered to get to these locations.
