How to unlock the Good One, Babe achievement in Borderlands 3 - Definitive Guide
This secret achievement requires you to "Watch Deathtrap kill 50 Enemies" which can partially be done at the start of the game when you first meet Gaige. DeathTrap will then accompany you in the "On the mountain of Mayhem" quest where you can let him kill even more enemies. Deathtrap will then return on the assault on Hearts desire in the quest "The Call of Gythian" where he will one-shot most enemies. This achievement can be more difficult to get if you don't pay attention so be careful and if the achievement tracker gets stuck like it did for me don't worry the counter is not glitched your progress will still be there even if the counter is frozen. Once Deathtrap clears the way for you to enter Heart's Desire, if you haven't got the achievement you may have to replay the Empowered Grawn boss fight to get the rest of the kills however due to the circumstances, it will be much harder for Deathtrap to kill enemies as he sits stationary in the middle of the room and if focused on the boss wont be able to kill any ememies. Otherwise you could start the DLC again on another difficulty/character or join a co-op buddy's game.
As long as you make sure that you try not kill enemies when Deathtrap is around this achievement will come through natural story progression.
NOTE: Thanks to BigTymer, you can save and quit during the quests where Deathtrap accompanies you and the enemies will respawn giving you more chances to get the achievement as long as you haven't missed your opportunity entirely.
NOTE: Thanks to Black Cobra, you can redo the Empowered Grawn fight in which Deathtrap will re-appear as you need him to take down its shield.
NOTE: Thanks to RuneSlayer4421, the achievement must be done with one character however multiple playthroughs on different difficulties such as TVHM will continue to count towards the progress.
If you have missed this achievement I believe you will have to redo the DLC in order to unlock it however your current progress should remain the same.

For what it’s worth I went from 4% to 90% in just the mountain quest and accidentally killed a few. So if you’re able to run around or sit back you can get almost all / all of the achievement, if you’re paying attention, unlike I was for a bit.

does reloading a checkpoint or quit/continue keep its progress?

An easy way to get this achievement after you have completed the DLC:
1. If you have Mayhem Mode on, deactivate it on Sanctuary.
2. Load into Negul Neshai map.
3. Rush through the map to the boss fight with Empowered Grawn. (Deathtrap will always respawn here to aid you in the fight, even after completing the DLC).
4. As soon as you drop down into the arena turn immediately right and then go up the first small flight of stairs before turning immediately left and continuing up the stairs into the sort of “control room” at the top. This has a large circular power unit of some kind (not sure how best to describe this, but you can’t miss it) right in the middle of the far wall.
5. Jump up onto the desk to the right of this unit and tuck yourself into the gap behind it. You will now be completely unreachable by any enemies and take no damage during the boss fight, which, if left alone, Deathtrap will eventually complete for you.
6. Leave the game alone until Deathtrap kills all enemies, including the Empowered Grawn, which given time he will definitely do on his own.
7. Quit out, load in and repeat the above until the achievement unlocks.
I’m not sure how many kills Deathtrap made on my first full run-through the DLC, but I did that on Mayhem 4, so it probably wasn’t many.
Switching to no-mayhem and doing the above: it took me about 3-4 reloads and a little over an hour to get the achievement. Along the way I also got a nice anointed Old Guard shield to drop without me killing a single enemy (and with no mayhem mode on). Deathtrap did all the work…
Hope that helps. I’ve tried to explain as best I can so please don’t down vote me if it doesn’t work: it 100% did for me, so the only other reason it won’t for you is because I haven’t explained something properly… happy to try to add to the above if I have missed something…
UPDATE: Thanks to KainMarks for informing me this doesn't work with FL4K unfortunately as he's too big to hide in that spot. I did this on Moze so I can't see why it wouldn't work with Zane and Amara as well: but not FL4K it seems...

Thanks for this hint mate, I knew about this achievement, but I brain-bonered it anyway.
Just as a note, I did it with FL4K, it is VERY, VERY difficult, but with practiced timing, you can jump/crouch his big ass in there hehe. I actually got a few kills by this method anyway just running around before I thought to try the hiding trick, so Fl4k can still do this, just takes longer and more reloads, but just equip spidey-ant for some extra regen, run around until DT gets some kills, log out, rinse repeat (but highly suggest trying your full on method, as I said just have to jump/crouch his ass in there).
Thx again, it would be a pain to restart the missions from start.

Thanks VantaHobo, I just spammed A and B in the corner and got in there within a few seconds every time on FL4K

This can be done when you first meet up with Gaige and Deathtrap. The Mission is "The Party Out of Space" and it will say -Kick some asses with Gaige. Just let Deathtrap do all the work. MAKE SURE to save and quit before the last enemy is killed and it should spawn you where the fight first starts. Rinse and Repeat until you get the achievement. You will have more missions with Deathtrap later, but this for the fastest way to get the achievement.
Also- keep an eye on your achievement tracker. Some people say that it was glitch-y so make sure that the counter keeps going up!

this is by far the fastest way, it takes less than 20 mins. It also needs to be done on one character, multiple playthroughs(NVHM/TVHM) are fine. I was also able to finish my achievement by going into a friends game in NVHM and letting deathtrap kill things in his game until I got the achievement.

The best place to farm this is probably the very first time you team up with Gaige and Deathtrap. Just let Deathtrap do all the work (set the game to easiest possible) and just before he finishes off the last enemy, save and quit and re-enter the area. You can do this in any area that has Deathtrap, but that first encounter may be the best spot for it.
If you do happen to have already cleared the DLC, then there's two nice things:
1) There is a single mission (Empowered Grawn) that Deathtrap will always spawn into to help (as he is required). Sadly, this can be a slog of a wait, especially whenever Deathtrap focuses on the boss involved, but at least you aren't locked out of the achievement with this character.
2) The number of kills is tied to a character, like a hidden score, but NOT to the playthrough. This means the number is carried across Normal and True Vault Hunter modes, so if you've cleared the DLC on one mode you can play through the other mode and farm kills there as well (of course, TVHM is tougher, but hey).
Of course, this means that if you switch to a different character/save file, they have their own tracked number of Deathtrap kills so you can't rack them up by swapping characters.

If you have already completed this DLC, you can AFK this achievement on Negul Neshai (shown in video above).
Notes:
- It's currently unknown if the stats for this trophy will carry over between playthroughs or multiple characters.
- You might not have to actually watch him kill each and every enemy, because the trophy popped for me when he was off-screen.
- If you are playing as Fl4k, then make sure you unequip his pet so it doesn't steal any of Deathtrap's kills. Credit to Spaceknight for this note.
You will have 4 encounters with Gaige and Deathtrap but only 3 will see Deathtrap engaged in combat:
Encounter 1: This is right near the start of the DLC, when you're exploring Skittermaw Basin and trying to make your way to the pre-Wedding party at The Lodge. After a little while you will get a message and have to look for a crashed Landing Pod. Once you find it, Gaige and Deathtrap will be fighting off some of the locals so hold back and let them wipe out all of the enemies.
Encounter 2 - Doesn't count towards the trophy: Once Wainwright puts on the Cursed Ring, he will fall unconscious and Deathtrap will carry him back to The Lodge.
Encounter 3 - Farming spot: The next time you will have access to Deathtrap, is during the mission "On the Mountain of Mayhem" when you have to teleport him to your location on the DAHL ship so let him do his stuff but keep out of his way and make sure you don't accidentally kill anything. You can farm this boss encounter in post-story free-roam, because Deathtrap will always be there whilst you're fighting the boss so stand back and let him take care of both the enemies and Boss. Credit to Zonato for discovering this trick. See below for a screenshot showing this location, in case you've forgotten where it is:
Encounter 4: The final time that Gaige and Deathtrap will join you, is near the start of the mission "The Call of Gythian". Deathtrap will now be so overpowered, that just 1 or 2 hits from his attacks will literally liquidate anything they touch so sit back and watch the body parts fly.
Once you have seen Deathtrap kill his 50th enemy, the trophy will pop.

If you have completed the DLC story you do not need to start a new save file or enter a newgame+.
If you travel to Negul Neshai and make your way to the boss room at the end. When you start the boss fight Deathtrap will be in the middle of the room as an ally. The boss will frequently cast a shield which causes enemies to spawn, Deathtrap can one shot these. Once the shield has been depleted Deathtrap will have a chance to target the different enemies which are counted towards the 50 needed. I tried playing around with the positioning as it seemed to target the boss mostly, there's a higher chance it will target the adds if they're close but it was a bit random. I didn't do any damage to the boss and only killed an enemy if I entered FFYL. After about 20 minutes the achievement popped.

Other guides have it down, but if you have already done the DLC, you can create a level 13 character in the menu and start the dlc from scratch.
During the mission 'The Part Out of Space' just after you get to Xylourgos when you are helping Gaige and Deathtrap kill enemies if you blackout to the main menu just before the last 2 enemies get killed and then reload it respawns them all for an easy farm.
During the Dahl ship section on Negul Neshai, stand back and let deathtrap kill the enemies.
This guide was translated automatically.
During one of the quests, Gadget will send his robot to help you, just watch how he kills enemies, but there won’t be enough of them in the first room, then there will be a battle with the boss and during it, let him kill everyone himself and the trophy is yours.

After passing, you can return to the boss and farm these kills (by restarting the location)

According to the plot further, we will clear 2 more locations. Just stand back and get 50 kills by the end of the mission. If you don't get it, you can finish it off on the boss. As a rule, he kills enough.
