How to unlock the My Name Is Earl achievement in Borderlands 3 - Definitive Guide
**Update: This achievement has been reported to be glitched for some players. The achievement counter is not going up and being stuck at certain % of completion. It is not known what causes the glitch to happen but apparently Gearbox knows of it and is working on a solution/patch.**
Crazy Earl is located on the space ship Sanctuary in the Cargo Bay (bottom floor of the ship)
Simply buy 20 cosmetic items form Crazy Earl.
Any items bought directly from Crazy Earl will count towards this achievement such as the heads and skins. Just fill in the rest of the achievement with filler Room Decorations after you've bought the cosmetics you actually wanted.

GLITCHED
Note: You can't access Crazy Earl's store, until after you have completed the mission "Sanctuary" and gained access to all of Sanctuary III.
Whilst I didn't have any issues with this trophy, some people have so the best way to mitigate any potential glitch is to save up enough Eridium to buy 20 items then purchase all of them at once with a single character. If you have issues with the PS5 version of this trophy, please see this post by purlinka: LINK
Crazy Earl's store is found in Sanctuary III's Cargo Hold (you will go there as part of the "Sanctuary" mission) but he only accepts Eridium. Here are the best ways to earn Eridium:
- Eridium Crystal Formations (requires the Eridian Resonator, before you can break them by pressing ): LINK
- Eridium Chests (requires the Eridian Resonator, before you can break the Eridium Crystal Formations holding them shut). LINK
- Killing Bosses and Badasses, then collecting the Eridium Bars they sometimes drop.
- Completing Challenges ( => Map => press until you reach the Galaxy Overview => Press to select the Challenges list = to cycle through the challenges).
The cheapest items cost 50 Eridium but the prices climb steeply from there. For some farming tips, please see this video by VinylicPumaGaming (this video is based on the 1.04 patch so isn't current but the basic strategies still apply):

Just for reference: buying a weapon with eridium in a machine gun does not count.
So you will have to spend about 500 eridium if you buy the cheapest room decorations.
And one more thing: there is no point in accumulating eridium - weapons with anointed bonuses will already fall in incredible quantities after completing the campaign.
