Awesome! Is there a way to keep track of how many kills you have with each manufacturer?
By arvelek on 14 Sep 2019 01:59
I feel like there has to be. But I haven't been able to figure it out, and the couple different discord groups I'm in, it's been the same thing. None of us are really sure if there's a way. The closest you can get is you'll be able to see challenges pop up and one of them will be 75/100 kills for "X" manufacturer.

You must get 100 kills with a weapon from each manufacturer.
The messages that you will get after getting 100 kills:
Company - (subject) - "kill text"
COV - (WE ARE ALL SUBJECTS BENEATH THE TWIN GODS) - "kill one hundred enemies"
Hyperion - (Mandatory Employee Assessment[Satisfactory]) - "eliminated 100 competitors"
Atlas - (Reward, Reinforced, and Retention Protocol) - "eliminated one hundred enemies"
Tediore - (FWD:FWD:FWD:fwd:re:RE:Loyalty Reward) - "killed 100 enemies"
Vladof - (TO ARMS! TO GLORY!) - "one hundred kills"
Jakobs - (Salutations and Congratulations from the Jakobs Corporation) - "kills 100 competitors"
Dahl - (Competency Rewards Program [CLASSIFIED - PREMIUM CUSTOMER EYES ONLY]) - " ONE HUNDRED (100) hostiles"
Maliwan - (Welcome) - "eliminated 100 enemies"
Torque - (F**KIN GREAT JOB) - "exploded 100 bad guys"

I was just coming to write a solution that included the subjects in the emails..
Just additional note - it looks like you receive a new email every 100 kills from the same manufacturer. The second Torgue one i received had same subject but different body of email text.

I think you can only kill enemy's from said faction and with said weapon. I was killing random enemy's with said weapon and didn't register

You can grind all of these out in about 30 minutes total, if you have a character that's level 20 or higher. Stock one of each weapon and head to the Holy Broadcasting center in Ascension Bluff. When you get to the mouthpiece fight, don't kill him, and he will spawn endless minions you can kill. Doesn't take too long to complete each one.

Great solution. I'd like to add that if you accidentally kill Mouthpiece you can simply quit and reload your game and you won't lose any progress and start right before the fight again.

To add on the rest already up, I found that the best way to do this is to wait once your first playthrough on Normal is finished, stockpile on weapons of each manufacturers you still need to do and go back to The Droughts zone on Pandora.
Since all enemies will still be low levels, you simply have to roam around obliterating everything in sight, and change to a different weapon once you get the 100 kills needed.
If you cleared out too much of the enemies and still need some more kills for the achievement, simply quit the session and get back in to respawn everyhting.

A way to get an idea of where you're at with each manufacturer is to go to your challenges (not as easy as it sounds, go to map and go all the way out to galaxy view and press right on the d-pad to see your overall challenges) and press x to sort by Manufacturers. There aren't any challenges purely for kills with a certain manufacturer but using the numbers from the assortment of special-kill type challenges you can get an idea of where you're at with a manufacturer. For example if you have 0 kills or only a couple kills for that manufacturers challenges you can be pretty sure you haven't reached your first 100 kills yet. However if you have like 30 kills in one challenge and 60 in another even though that isn't quite 100 you can be pretty sure you've reached 100 kills if you include normal kills that aren't tracked by a challenge. Or simply get those last 10 kills.
Hope this helps!
Hope this helps!
To my knowledge there is no way to see in game what you have already gotten the mail from so what I did is I wrote on my notes app on my phone the company's that had already sent me something it's very helpful when you play days apart hope this helps
There are a total of 9 different weapon manufacturers in the game that you can obtain a loyalty package from. These will be in your mailbox, under the "social" tab on the start/pause menu. Every 100 kills with a gun from a certain manufacturer, you will get a different letter/package from that specific manufacturer/company. The manufacturers that you need for this achievement are:
Atlas
COV
Dahl
Hyperion
Jakobs
Maliwan
Tediore
Torgue
Vladorf
It's recommended to keep a list handy of which manufacturers you have left. Once you open your mail and receive the gun they manufacturer sent you -- the letter will disappear and there is no way to look at your read mail. The good news is that you will get a new letter/gun for EVERY 100 kills you've done with guns from that certain company. So if you're not sure about a company, kill enemies with a gun from that company until you get mail and then move on to the next manufacturer.

Note: To make life easier, please use this tracking sheet that I created: LINK
To unlock this trophy, you need to get 100 kills with a weapon from each of the 9 weapon manufacturers:
Atlas
Children of the Vault (AKA "COV")
Dahl
Hyperion
Jakobs
Maliwan
Tediore
Torgue
Vladof
The following manufacturers don't count, because they only make shields and/or relics:
Anshin
Eridian
Pangolin
You will know if you've done 100 kills for any given manufacturer, when a message appears on the left-hand side of the screen that says you have received a package from X manufacturer (see below for a screenshot) so go to your Mail and check it's there. After making your 900th total kill, the trophy will pop. Do note that you don't need to accept the packages for the trophy to pop, just receive them.

You need to kill 100 enemies using weapons that are produced by different companies in the world of Borderlands, for example Maliwan, Atlas and so on, kill 100 enemies and a package with a letter of gratitude and a bonus in the form of a cannon arrives in your internal mail (by the way, there can there are quite good specimens) and so on for every 100 corpses.

If you don’t want to get confused like me and rack your brains over which weapon didn’t score 100 kills, go through the list, crossing off what you’ve done.

Jacobs
Vladof
COV
Maliwan
Atlas

Dahl
Torgue
The statistics in the tests are extremely crooked because many guns have several kill missions, and completed ones are not displayed at all.

I would advise taking on this trophy at the very beginning, while you are still low level and just starting to play. Do it methodically, going through the list of weapon manufacturers. So as not to rack your brains later...because there really aren’t any statistics. The method suggested by darkitechtor helps, but not always. I had to spend extra time on the high level, and several times I didn’t get it right with the manufacturer...
