How to unlock the Ruin on the Horizon achievement in Borderlands 3 - Definitive Guide
Edit: Some of the quests in this DLC glitch and may need to be replayed. I'm sorry if this happens to you, that's awful. But please don't downvote my solution because I don't know how to fix all glitches.
Story related.
5th and final main mission. Will unlock after going through the Crater's Edge map, then returning to Vestige and collecting your reward.
goodgamez has a great walkthrough of just the main missions on Youtube. All credit to them.
This quest starts around 1:52:00 and the achievement would pop at the end of the video.

A description on how it's done would be nice. I'm actually stuck.

Sorry, this doesn't deserve an upvote - you posted someone else's video and added nothing extra, why should you get credit? I'm more than capable of searching YouTube myself...

Story related but GLITCHED
This mission is currently glitched to hell for a lot of people, due to either not being able to spawn Jetbeasts or the NPCs stopping dead in their tracks and entering an unbreakable dialogue loop because you left them mid-mission.
Boss details:
Rose: Fought during the mission "Riding to Ruin".
Note: Unlike every other boss in the game, Rose is a one-time encounter and will disappear after defeating her for the first time.
Rose has the following attacks:
Cloud Shot
Rapid fire
Super speed
Blade Tornado
Explosive spit
Shockwave
This arena is one of the smallest in the game, which means it will be harder to avoid Rose's attacks, so use the boulders as cover wherever possible then peak out and take pot shots when you can. The main attack you have to worry about is Rose's Blade Tornado, because it has a large attack radius and does a ton of damage if it connects with you, but her other attacks are easier to avoid because they have a longer charge up time.
The Ruiner: Fought during the mission "Riding to Ruin".
The Ruiner has the following attacks:
Snapper spawn
Underground spikes
Corrosive Laser
If you've fought Crawmerax in Borderlands 1 or the Son of Crawmerax in Borderlands 2, then the Ruiner shouldn't come as a surprise. This is because mechanically, the Ruiner fight is very similar to the aforementioned boss battles in that you can only do serious damage to him by shooting specific parts of his body and shooting anywhere else is just a waste of ammo. The Ruiner has 3 attacks but the only one you really have to worry about is when he unleashes a powerful Laser from his mouth, which is more than capable of insta-killing you if you're not at full health so use the Jump Pads to jump over it and avoid taking damage.
The Ruiner takes almost no damage from any weapon types or element but does have a weak spot, namely the spikes on his back so chip away at them with your most powerful weapon. When he goes underground, use one of the Telezappers to follow him there. Once you're underground, look for the spiky brown bulge on the ceiling then empty your weapon of choice into it but don't hang around too long else the platform you're on, will sink into the lava and quickly kill you so use the Telezapper to return to the surface. This fight is very much a case of rinse and repeat but if you run low on ammo, shoot the flying enemies to get some ammo back but also don't forget you can use the Obsidian crystals to do at least some damage to him. Once he's toast, skip the credits then Fast Travel back to Vestige and collect the Bounty.
