Can you not go back to the area when you're done? When you say "misasble", that indicates 1 and done for any entire playthrough.

Free roam is available after beating DLC campaign, you can get them at anytime.

Don't know if this has happened to anyone but I shot one while playing in a friends lobby, and got dropped at the same time. The game glitched and wouldn't register that I shot it.

so not sure if this has happened to anyone else but this one has gliched out for me as all the in game challenges have been marked off and I got the ledgendary weapon at the end of it but no achievement as it is stuck at 80%. I've even tried to go back to all locations. Any idea's?

Also glitched at 80%. The achievements in this game are terrible for unlocking. Anyone know what I have to do? Start a new character?

EDIT: Done exactly that and it unlocked this time. What a waste of 4 hours I’ll ever get back. They need to fix their shit.
