How to unlock the Can't We Get BEYOND Thunderdome? achievement in Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition - Definitive Guide

You need at least one other player for this achievement. Local split screen will also work.

Travel to Arid badlands and there will be a location called Arena. It is a bandit settlement/outpost to the left of Fyrestone.

Enter, make sure you and your friend/split screen player are on different teams and win against them in a 3 round match.

Make sure the other player isn’t too far ahead of you in level or you won’t be able to damage them.

To unlock the Can't We Get BEYOND Thunderdome? trophy in Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, you will need at least one other player. You can do this via online or split-screen co-op.

You can find the Arena in the Arid Badlands, to the left of Fyrestone. Enter with your co-op partner and make sure that you are both on different teams and then press ready. You will then be transported into the Arena. Win the three-round match and the trophy will unlock.

This can be unlocked with a second account and controller. A silver account will suffice.

You can unlock this achievement very early on in the game. When you are given a mission by Dr. Zed called 'Blinding Nine-Toes' where you have to kill eight bandits, the area you are sent to has an arena that you can unlock this achievement in. There will be a huge glowing sign that says 'Arena' on it and a star on the map where you can enter the 'Fyrestone Coliseum'.

When starting the game, have a second account join you on a second controller, or a friend over Xbox Live and enter the Arena in this area. Once inside head through to the next portal and begin a match. In here, either kill your second account or have your friend let you kill them twice, then you will win the match and unlock this achievement.

Note: This trophy has nothing to do with the Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot DLC.

An arena match is not the same as a standard duel, instead you will need to enter an arena in the game and last 2-3 rounds without dying. The easiest way to get this trophy is to start a Splitscreen game but make sure that Player 2 is at level 1 then go to the arena in Fyrestone which is called the Fyrestone Coliseum (credit to OnceFallen for the Player level info). Once in the arena, go to the far end of the room and press the button there to bring up the options menu and select "Start Match". After you've both spawned, have Player 1 equip their best weapon and kill the other player three times. Once the match is over and you've won, the trophy will pop. Do note though that suiciding is disabled so you have to win fair and square.

In case you don't know where the Fyrestone arena is, then see this video (credit to N1ghtElfM0hawk):

You can use any of the three arenas that are in the game but the Fyrestone arena is the first you will encounter. See here for the locations of the other 2: Arena - Borderlands Wiki - Walkthroughs, Weapons, Classes, Character builds, Enemies, DLC and more! (credit to the Borderlands Wiki for the link).

Defeat another player in an arena match.

There are three arenas in the game: Fyrestone Coliseum in Arid Badlands, The Cesspool in Rust Commons West and The Devil's Footstool in Salt Flats.

There are two ways to get this achievement:

1. Kill another player 3 times before the match ends.
2. Everything is the same, only connect a second controller instead of the player.
