Make sure you dont skip past level 5. I was with a high level friend and skipped from 4 to 7 after he killed a high level enemy and the achievement didn't pop. Created a new character and got him exactly to level 5 and it popped.

I found this out the hard way after getting all 4 characters past Level 10, so I;m restarting my Siren. Oh well. LOVE this game.
