The start is at the metal hut. Just before the track. The timer starts when you drive under the banner.
At the beginning stay to the left going around a bend, then there will be a sharp left turn. Then there will be a gap with a ramp, use the boost and jump the ramp. When you land, make a left turn and follow the track back towards the metal hut to end the run.
You can be a passenger in the vehicle and it will still unlock.

The race track is found in the Dahl Headlands. Unfortunately, there's no visible timer when you start the lap, but there are some shortcuts that you can take advantage of. The video below shows a good route that you can take (credit to SniperWolfHI on YouTube for the video):

You can unlock this achievement when you arrive in 'The Dahl Headlands' area of the game. Head to the area on the map below and your goal here is to get from the beginning to the end of the track in under a certain time. The time you need to beat is 31 seconds and this can be easily achieved by following the path detailed below;
Note this path uses a tight left hand turn followed by a jump over a ramp that needs to be done at speed while using boost. It can be tricky so expect to have to do a few practice runs first.
Terminator, and, Vuule, Archavia
The description of this trophy says "record time" but the Achievement mentions 31 seconds instead, thus we assume it's the same for the trophy.
This is obtained in the far bottom left corner of The Dahl Headlands, there are multiple Catch-A-Ride stations so don't worry about that. Use your boost whenever possible but don't use it in corners because this can easily cause you to crash or flip over. The timer starts and stops when you go under the triangle garlands. Stand at the start and immediately use your boost. Keep your second boost for when you turn left and go up a small hill as there will be a jump which you won't make without it. After the jump simply follow the turn and the trophy should pop shortly after passing the finish line. It should be easily done within the time limit if you don't run into any walls.

Return to the triangle garlands whilst still in your vehicle if you happen to mess up, then turn around and try again. If done in co-op then both players will get it providing they're both in the vehicle at the same time.

I went to the main menu - booted again - got it the first time.
Note: initially I tried for a long time to get the trophy on the SECOND playthrough, but on the restart I loaded the first playthrough, and the trophy dropped out there.
