How to unlock the The Gully achievement in Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition - Definitive Guide
This is going to take a bit of time. Prepare for a few hours. You can make it easy for you, by hosting a game with a low-level character (Lv 10 for example) and join with your main account.
You have to fight for 20 Rounds with 5 rounds each. Each 5 rounds comes a new modificator, which can make it a bit challenging depending on the level of the main character.
I did this with a level 37 main character and it was actually easy. Beware if both of your accounts fail to end the round, you will have to do an additional round, as you start from the round before. (Eg. you are on Round 19 and die, then you start at 18).
I would recommend that you do this when you are at least level 50, as even low-level characters can cause trouble even if you are above 30 with all the mods. But it is not impossible though, you just need to be careful.
I played with Brick and used the rocket launcher constantly and on two occasions i hurt myself with no enemys around. Since i played alone i had to do few rounds more which took me more time.
The waves of each rounds consist of (Enemys are random)
Starter Wave: Skags/Bandits/Psychos
Gun-Wave: Bandits/Psychos
Horde-Wave: Only Psychos (Badass included)
Badass-Wave: Vault-Guardians/Bandits/Skags/Psychos
Boss-Wave: Any Boss
Remember that the further you go in rounds the more skilled enemies will appear, like alpha skags, Badass variants of each enemy, guardians and so on.

As you may know, imported characters do not carry this achievement over. Also, the round skip glitch has been patched. My method to get this was simple, and it works best if you have a friend with a higher level character that can handle the kills for you. Here are the steps:
1. Start a new character and progress through the story until you power up the Catch-a-Ride stations for Scooter at the very beginning of the game. Once the stations are powered up, you can use the fast travel station outside Zed's to go to the Underdome.
2. You will probably be around level 5 at this point. Make sure YOU are hosting the game and have a higher level friend join the game to handle the kills. This is a time commitment however, depending on the levels involved. I was level 7, enemies scaled to level 12 and my friend was level 49. In that configuration it took about 3 hours (with some breaks), around 1400 kills total I believe.
3. You can find a hiding spot on the edges of the map. If you're far enough away, the enemies won't mess with you. However it shouldn't matter if you get downed, you won't be high enough level to help
