For this achievement you need to join an xbox live game with someone who already has this achievement, I hosted a game and didn't get it when someone with it joined BUT I got it in the loading screen when I joined someone else.

Unfortunately this game's online is completely dead so your only options are to either create a gaming session, find a gaming session for the game or PM someone who has recently won this achievement.

I no longer own the game so I will not be able to help out

Can the Japanese version connect with the english version? I just looked into it and the japanese xbox 360 version will work on any Xbox One but I was just a little curious about this achievement since I have it on my english game

I have this on Xbox 360 and Xbox One stacks (not sure how, I don't remember playing Co-Op at all) so I might be able to help here.
