You can get all coop achievements using a second pad.
For this one what i did was connect the second pad in the lobby and pick a level 1 character. Then spawn both controllers in at Fyrestone. Run both pads out of the main gate with the main profile hanging back abit.
Get the pup skags to attack poor Mr. Player 2 and have him go down and just revive him with your main profile for the achievement.
Easy as you like
