How to unlock the I Welcome Your Attack, Fool achievement in Borderlands The Pre-Sequel - Definitive Guide

The easiest way to get this is to take your high level character from True Vault Hunter mode and load them up in Normal mode. The recommended level for the Badass Round is 35 and I did it solo with my lvl 50 no problem. The only somewhat tricky thing is to make sure you don't fall into the abyss or the spinning part of the map.

Where do you find this bad ass round? Kind of missing from your description... thanks

Will answer for Spyder on this one. Its in the DLC for the Pre Sequal. When you go to a fast travel station, just look for the Holodome location. You have to complete five rounds first then its given as a sixth round.

If you have Wilhelm and the alternate Fight for your life mode, that mode will not count as failing.

I did this in coop and I as host. The other player did die and was taken out of the round. I still finished without going into fight for your life and both of us got the achievement.

If you go in to FFYL, do you need to dashboard? Can the mission be completed again?

The badass round mission can be completed after finishing it if you didn't get the achievement the first time

My theory on this one. If the host does not go into FFYL all players will get the achievement. I did not host, my host did not go into FFYL but I did go into FFYL 3-4 times. I got the achievement. Host was about 5 levels higher than me.

So have your highest level host and as long as they do not go into FFYL you should be good.

Weirdly enough, this didn’t unlock for me after completing the requirements for the first time. Might just be a one-time thing.

@thomaskorat I just completed the badass round earlier with Wilhelm (with the alternate FFYL mode). I went down twice, got second wind, and did not get this Achievement. Either it was patched or it was because I went down a second time. Just a heads up.

I just completed this with Wilhelm. I used the normal FFYL and went down at least three times but it still unlocked for me at the end. Not sure why but it was a pleasant surprise. The only thing I can think of is that it was my second time trying and it was on different rounds that I went down (within first and second round on first attempt and round 6 on second attempt.) So maybe it keeps track of each individual round or something and when you do all the rounds without FFYL it pops? Don't know for sure just a theory.

Not a guide, just a tip for those who are struggling with the Ophas that show up in larger numbers towards the final waves.

Using Ground Slam near them will push them back a little bit. Do this until they fall down the rotating blades, instantly killing them. It's advisable that you finish any nearby enemies before to make this much easier. You can ignore the Putti (the little flying enemies it spawns) for the most part as they primarily heal the Opha, but they could also attack you. This should save you a lot of ammo, time, and increase your chances of completing this, especially if you're using a lower leveled character.

The Badass Round is available after completing the first five rounds of the Holodome. It is replayable, so if you go into 'Fight For Your Life' let yourself die, then restart the round.

I would recommend attempting this achievement on the 'Normal Mode' playthrough as the enemies will be capped at or around level 33 and you can bring in your level 50+ character to destroy everyone with ease. Be careful not to fall as there is a pit in the center of the arena as well as around the outsides of the center platform which will kill you outright if you happen to fall into it, causing you to have to restart the round.

You can complete this arena on the first difficulty after repeated playthroughs - the level of the opponents will not exceed 26.
