Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

This is a STORY MISSION, non-missable if you follow the main storyline.
**I'm avoiding all spoilers and story-related info.

• Find force field power source
• Disable force field power source
++ (optional) ...without triggering an explosion
• Disable force field power sources: 0/3
++ (optional) ...without making any of them explode
• Take the long way around
• Kill Col. T Zarpedon
• Get to laser core
• Meet up with Jack
• Prepare Eye for shutdown: 0/3
• Shut down laser
• Return to command station
• Initiate reboot sequence
• Regain control of laser

• Once inside the LUNAR LAUNCHING STATION's command deck, Jack sends you to shut down the laser.
• Fight your way to the HELIOS TARGETING CENTRUM. Another force field!
• Jack and Moxxi talk.
• Activate the system control station to the RIGHT of the force field. This exposes 1 of the power sources.
• You can disable the BLUE fuel tanks (optional objective).
• Or to quickly destroy it instead, shoot the RED fuel tank to cause an explosion (this negates the optional objective).
• Moxxi tells you there are 3 more! They're all in/around the TARGETING CENTRUM area.

• The first 2 are on opposite sides of the LASER AMPLIFICATION NEXUS.

• The last power source for the force field is the huge reactor outside the Targeting Hub area.
• Follow the minimap to the objective and activate the computer console (highlighted GREEN).

• ZARPEDON will send multiple waves of troops. If you don't kill them quickly/efficiently enough, they can RESET the reactor!
• Once the core drains the force field, make sure you kill any remaining troops.
• Head towards the travel gate towards the EYE OF HELIOS.

• Meet Jack in the maintenence tunnels around the EYE OF HELIOS and follow him to a door. It's broken.
• Follow Jack the long way around, ride the elevator up.

Here's a list of her various attacks and defences:
++ Electricity Ball: A wide orb of electricity that does heavy damage to shields.
++ Laser Cannon: Arm-mounted laser that deals heavy damage to shields and flesh.
++ Shock Grenades: Power suit releases a cluster of shock grenades that drain shield energy
++ Light Sword: Close-range melee attack that deals massive damage.
++ Shield Recharge: Zarpedon can tear into the wiring of Helios and recharge her shields.

-STAGE 1-
• Jack will take care of most of the troops that spawn, and he'll ALSO take MOST of the damage from ZARPEDON's power suit, if you HANG FAR BACK. Use distance to your advantage.
• Use a SHOCK WEAPON to destroy her SHIELD, and then a CORROSIVE WEAPON to destroy her armor (aka power suit).
-- If she tears into the hull of HELIOS, she will recharge the suit's shield! ZAP HER WITH A SHOCK WEAPON TO STOP HER!

-STAGE 2-
• After her power suit is destroyed, she is MUCH FASTER and MORE DEADLY.
• Use a SHOCK WEAPON for her shield (the Vibra-Pulse is great for this).
• Then use a FIRE WEAPON for her main health.
• KEEP MOVING! Jump and "boost" to move quickly to avoid her POWERFUL MELEE ATTACKS!
-- She can also fire projectiles from her staff. Duck under/or jump over to avoid them.
-- In this stage, she can also recharge her shields (by her self). So keep shooting her (periodically) with ANY ELEMENTAL WEAPON.

• After the cutscene, follow Jack to the EYE OF HELIOS. Following Jack and Moxxi's instructions. Then return to his office to complete this chapter!
