How to unlock the Space Lord achievement in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel - Definitive Guide

Reaching level 50 through natural progression, i.e. doing literally everything in the game and then some by supplementing it with quests from DLCs could take forever. For the uninitiated the best and most rewarding method for capping the level cap would be by attaining a baseline 100 percent completion by doing all the quests and side quests. My preferred boosting method is somewhere late game by farming both IwaJira or either version of the Vault Sentinel such as the Empyrean Sentinel or the Invincible Sentinel raid boss.

There are, like all the other games in the Borderlands franchise, a ton of farming methods for things all things beyond XP (XP included.) SegmentNext has a great article about a few methods for your various needs.

Courtesy of YouTuber "HandsomeJackBoy" there's also a pretty good and current solo farm method you can employ from this video here.

To apply the method from the video you have to be at 50 lvl already and complete the main story missions in True Vault Hunter Mode to activate Ultimate mode. So this is a BS.

As for the most effective XP farming method so far, I recommend to use Mutator Arena from the DLC. Repeat the fight on the lowest difficulty over and over again and you will gain levels in no time just because enemies are being scaled with you and killing them give you very decent amount of XP. It took like 4-5 runs per level for gaining 3 last levels from 47 to 50 for me. + tons of scaled loot (even legendaries)/money/moonstones if you need that as well.

In order to level up you will need a lot of xp which can be gained from killing enemies and completing missions. You will need to complete the game once on normal mode to reach the mid-late 30's, as enemies in your first playthrough will peak at this level, then you will need to begin the New Game + mode (True Vault Hunter Mode) to continue to level up beyond that. This achievement will likely be one of your last achievements to unlock, so you can set it to the back of your mind for the most part and concentrate on everything else.

Once you hit that level 50, the achievement is yours.

NOTE: When playing with other people, you will not get XP for turning in the mission. Hence, I would recommend helping people kill the final boss. I was able to fly through level 49 by playing the last mission in it's entirety with 3 other people.

The first playthrough is your player's level 30. To get level 50 you need to completely clear the game on normal and then beat it on the next difficulty.

After going through the game completely 2 times, I was at level 47. I got the remaining 3 levels like this. We launch the 3rd difficulty, complete the 1st mission in 3 minutes, get 58k experience and go to the menu. We select a character and when selecting difficulty 3, click reset the passage and start the 3rd difficulty again. And we repeat until the coveted level 50. It took me 30 minutes to do this.

After the story and all the quests I was lvl 30. Then I immediately switched to hard mode and connected with people. Just playing. I got to level 43 pretty quickly. I started playing DLC 1 and 2.

Starting around level 44, you can quickly level up to 49 in the arena in the second DLC (per evening). It will also depend on the starting equipment. Freezing slam helped me a lot here. Killed mobs by endlessly jumping to the ground. When leaving the arena, he was completely dressed in pink gear of level 45-46 (not to be confused with the violet one).

At 49 I went to kill the secret Boss in the very first location in hard mode. A little skill and everything works out. The clothes from the arenas helped a lot. We kill the boss 5 times and you are lvl 50 in about an hour and a half.

I did everything solo.
