How to unlock the That Tasted Purple! achievement in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel - Definitive Guide

Pretty straightforward, you need a purple or orange rarity item in each slot. That means:

-4 guns
-Oz kit
-Shield
-Grenade Mod
-Class Mod

Fortunately for everyone who played the game on the 360, if you upload your save from the 360 to the one,and you have a SHiFT account, you get 75 golden keys. For those people who don't know, golden keys can be used on the chest located in Concordia. Each time you open the chest it costs one key and you obtain gear that is equivalent to your level (i.e. if you are level 25, the gear you get from the chest will have a level 25 requirement). You can get everything from here and it will all be purple rated. I'd say could be done in 5 minutes or less this way if you're lucky.

Unfortunately for everyone who didn't, it may take you a bit longer BUT you can still obtain golden keys. Borderland's twitter account gives out roughly 3-5 golden keys every 2-3 weeks, so it may take a little longer but still an easy way to get it done!

If there's any way i can improve this please let me know.

You need a purple or orange item in each slot
- 4 guns (very easy) just use the moonstone chests
- oz kit (kind of hard) you can get an easy orange one in The Hyperian Hub of Heroism from corporal bob (random NPC) (It is called the ack ack)
- shield (little hard) you can get shields from bosses (I got 3 purples before I even beat the final boss)
- grenade (hard) grenades you can find randomly (sometimes if you are really really lucky you can get one for the item/weapon of the day)
- class mod (the hardest one to find) I got mine from the final boss

After you complete the main storyline quest Home Sweet Home you will unlock your 4th weapon slot, which will allow you to earn this trophy. You cannot earn it before that point.

You can obtain purple or orange weapons through regular gameplay, whether its from random enemy drops, loot/weapon crates, weapon crates that require moonstones, quest rewards, or using golden keys via SHiFT codes.

If you want to avoid Golden Keys, then simply play the game normally and save a purple or orange item in your vault if you plan on switching it out for a lower rarity weapon when your level exceeds its use. Once you have an item for each slot, equip it and your trophy will pop.

The slots you must fill are:
-All 4 weapon slots
-Grenade Mod
-Class Mod
-Oz Mod
-Shield

If you want to fast track this process, simply enter some SHiFT codes for Golden Keys, open the chest in Concordia, and collect purple level weapons with every single chest opening.

Below is a list of SHiFT codes available on Orcz.com
Make sure the code is still available and hasn't expired yet

All of the equippable weapons and items in Borderlands are color coded. White is the lowest quality, while orange is the highest. Purple, which you need for this achievement is the second highest quality gear in the game and is very rare.

To unlock this achievment you will need, four purple weapons, a purple shield, a purple class mod, a purple grendae mod and a purple Oz kit. Equip all of these at once and the achievement is yours.

If you're having trouble finding purple rated gear, consider looking for help in the achievement boosting thread, found Here as someone may be willing to trade you for them.

For this achievement, you need to have a Purple or rarer piece of gear in each slot. That means a purple or rarer weapon in all 4 weapon slots, class mod, oz kit, shield, and grenade mod.

All of these will most likely be found with natural exploration and looting, but you might have to farm a bit for a purple class mod. I suggest buying that as the item of the day at one of the vending machines to speed up this progress.

It is necessary that purple or orange items be equipped in all slots (4 for weapons), shield, Oz kit, grenades and class modifier.
