How to unlock the Discovered Trash Coast achievement in Borderlands - Definitive Guide

Trash Coast is found in the Rust Commons. You will eventually be given some missions there (only one is main storyline-related) and will be given a map marker leading you to Trash Coast. Since this is part of the main storyline, unless your achievement is glitched, it is impossible to miss this achievement if you complete the entire game.

I believe I got this after defeating taylor I believe. When you kill him you go to talk to his claptrap and he will open the gate to the Trash Coast.

You can found Trash Coast in the Rust Commons. Eventually you will have to go there to some story related missions. So, unless this trophy is glitched you will get it.
