get your soldier up to level 5. once you get to level 5 you will get your action skill, in this case the soldier gets a deployable turret.

(you should be at level 5 when you go to kill nine toes)

once you have your turret you can do two things.

1. play the game as you normally would, you will get it in no time.

or

2. if you want to make it quick. just run around outside of the first town and deploy the turret near the skag holes.

This achievement is assigned to only the Soldier class. As a soldier you will earn the ability to drop a deployable turret as a means of back up. I was around level 6 when I got this. Simply drop this down while playing and when it has taken out 15 enemies the achievement will unlock. I got this just buy playing through the game - but if you are just after a quick way to get it then I would suggest using it on the Skags near the beginning of the game.

When I did this I did a couple of quests then I had to go and fight the first boss of the game. If you get level 5 before the boss comes around, you don't really need to fight him.

If you are just going purely for the achievement then get level five and go back to the main area and use the turret on the level 2 pupl's and it will be alot easier than using the turret on the level 6 - 9 creatures in the same area as the first main boss. Hope this helps.

You won't need to do anything out of the ordinary for this achievement. As long as you use the turret at all you'll get it. But if play as a different character class you can still get it by starting a new game and power-levelling to 5 and then just spamming it on the level 2 skags out the front of firestone.

An alternate way to do this for any of the characters' achievements exists if you feel it is better for you.

Take your high level 1st playthrough character, preferably no less than level 30, towards the end of the game's progress.

Choose Xbox Live from the main menu to search for co-op games. Make sure your high level character is selected. Now search for Custom Games. Find a game that looks like the players currently in it are in some action.

As soon as the game loads and you are waiting in the lobby, make sure you do NOT ready up yet. Go to Select Character, now choose the new character you need the achievement for and ready up to spawn in the game.

The way the game upscales xp will be so that a 1 or 2 kills your team mates do will knock you up quite a few levels in really quick. You will reach level 5 through the work of your team mates and unlock your ability.

Now take that newly ranked up character and start a single player game.

Kill all the bandits through the way to Zed's Clinic with your ability.

You should get this achievement once you start killing the 4 or so bandits that ambush you when claptrap gets shot through the gate and needs repairing.
