How to unlock the House of the Ned achievement in Borderlands - Definitive Guide

This is the first story achievement for this DLC, the third quest in the chain.

* "Welcoming Committee" - Recalibrate the 3 defense turrets to shoot zombies.
* "Is The Doctor In?" - Go to Doctor Ned's waterfront clinic.
* "House of the Ned" - Go to Doctor Ned's house in the bayou. You will have to fight through many, many zombies to just get there. When you speak to Dr. Ned over the intercom, there is a Left 4 Dead style crescendo event where dozens of zombies will spawn while he hand-cranks the elevator down. Kill them all and go up the elevator, then speak to the doctor to get the achievement.

There is a medical vending machine in his house, a good time to sell your surplus items.

The ahcivement name is a reference to Sega'sThe House of the Dead arcade game series.

Check your map (with the quest active) and follow the signs to the spooky tree house.

What if we did second playthrough and I only got it and not the host (who purchased the content). Should he go on the first playthrough and just teleport to jakobs cove

I've had the problem that a frind of mine, who not even had the DLC spoke to the Doctor and then only he got the achievement and not me. I hope that i can get the achievement at the first playtrough, cause we did it at the second. Damn bucks.... Anyone else got that problem?

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. You will get this mission in Hallow's End after completing the Is the Doctor In? mission. Once you have completed the last part of the mission, the trophy will unlock.
