How to unlock the There's No "I" In "Team" achievement in Borderlands - Definitive Guide

You can complete this achievement offline. I'd recommend creating a new character that you advance to level 5, to get that classes action skill achievement - there are 15 quick and easy missions before having to kill the first boss. Just plug in another controller and sign in with a silver profile. Start a split screen game with your main profile and press start on the second controller. You can leave the second player in Fyrestone and play as normal (with half a screen :O) You can also complete the "Can't we get beyond thunderdome", "Group lf healer", "Duel-icious" and "Duelinator" achievements using the second controller.

This solution seems very misleading, im pretty sure the first sentence is hinting at exactly what pastor adrock and I both tried and failed at. Im really surprised that the solution has 62 positive votes and 0 negative, well 1 now. I had the same experience of what pastor adrock said, I tried completing 15 missions cumulatively across 3 characters via the split-screen option of the main menu and just selecting a silver account as profile 2, and i did not get the achievement. However when i completed 15 missions the same way with one character i got the achievement. I did so by starting a new game, that way both characters were eligle for the missions completed, im honestly not sure if this mattered.

I unlocked it yesterday and did the remaining quests in splitscreen with another new character without a second silver Xbox Live profile, just with my own gold profile.
My workaround was completing quests, but not turning in. Exiting to the main menu, play splitscreen, plug in another controller and add a level 1 character, start the game and turn in the quests at the bounty board or quest givers. Earlier I completed quests with other players.

I did the 15 missions in coop in just 53 minutes.

It seems to me that all 15 missions have to be with one character. I tried getting the achievements for getting each characters special kill in MP but it did not unlock after 15 missions across 3 characters.
I eventually did 15 with Mordecai and it unlocked. Not sure if that will happen with anyone else, but it may be best to avoid any hassle and just use one character instead of trying to split them up like I did.

Another way of doing this (i.e. besides creating a new character and playing it offline in coop on your own) is to just finish some missions, but don't collect the rewards yet! Once you have about 4 or 5 finished, go to the area where you're supposed to collect them, and quit the game to the main menu.

Then, start a game in off-line coop, pick your own profile and pick any character with the other (can be a level 1, if you haven't got another). Go cash in those missions, and quit the game again. Repeat 3 to 4 times until you have 15 in total.

The Easiest way to do this that I can think of of you are thinking from a achievement standpoint is to start a new game with some friends and start grinding out missions. If you have a good team it should only take about two hours. You will get this throughout the course of normal play anyways if you don't worry about it.

Or you can do several missions in single player and save them up. Then load up split screen co op and turn all the missions in for reward. Rinse and repeat until your finished.

Yeah this is a very slow way of doing this compared to the guide listed above

There are 2 ways to do this:

1) Co-op. Simply play with a friend/partner and complete any 15 missions.

2) Solo. Proceed to completing any 15 missions of your liking (bounty board missions work best for this). However, after doing a mission, DO NOT "turn in" the mission. For example, when doing the "Get A Little Blood On The Tires" mission, do not turn in the mission to the Bounty Board after roadkilling 10 enemies. Instead, save your game and exit to the main menu. Start a split-screen Co-op game and once the game loads up, the trophy will unlock. The best bet to be completely safe with this method is to accept bounty board missions in one sitting and then "turn in" all at once in split-screen mode. If you choose this route, the trophy will unlock after the 15th mission has been completed on split-screen load up. To be extra safe, turn in the completed missions to the bounty board during split-screen play prior to going back to playing solo, this rinse and repeating.

The choice is yours!

Happy Hunting :)

You can do this on splitscreen, system link, or over Xbox-Live. As you progress through the game with a partner this will unlock.

Just complete 15 missions in online co-op or with a friend on the same screen. (It is not necessary that you complete all tasks at once and with one person)

The simplest thing is to help a friend play from the beginning; completing the first quests in the game will take 10 minutes.

Anyone can take quests. For example: your friend takes on a quest to kill 10 dogs, you quickly kill them, and he gets credit.
