How to unlock the Vincible achievement in Borderlands - Definitive Guide

HOW TO BEAT CRAWMERAX WITH ANY 2 PLAYERS. Including splitscreen with using 2 controllers.

I was tired of seeing that you had to have a siren or two hunters or four level 61 players to beat this guy, so I went out and looked up this method and added a few things to it. Most of the credit needs to go to HaloHunter72 and the glitch's originator HelterSkelter. Also I want to thank Katiahnya for the screen shot of where you need to stand.

First you will need a reasonably powerful sniper, (nothing huge) or a very accurate scoped weapon. Also you will need a smg, assault rifle, sniper or anything with a scope that can REGENERATE ammo (higher the fire rate the better)...or for soldiers and hunters a class mod.

Once you have your weapons set you and your other player go to the elevator to Crawmerax. One person goes up and the other decoy stays at the bottom of the elevator. Now facing forward move to the left closest angle to the front of the elevator and head on up to Crawmerax. As soon as the elevator gets to the top RUN LEFT to the ledge and DUCK DOWN (crouch) against the wall.

Link to a screen shot of where to stand to freeze glitch Crawmerax posted by Katiahnya over in the Gearbox Forums

(IMPORTANT)
Only crouching enables the glitch and this does take a few tries each time to get Crawmerax to freeze glitch, it doesn't work every time.

In this spot Crawmerax will glitch and freeze and not attack you nor will his little worm buddies. He will sit there and roar over and over while you shoot all of his critical points. (This does take awhile depending on your level and how proficient you are with your gun the regens ammo) You will eventually blow off his 4 arms and pop his eye, but you have no angle to shoot the weak spots on his back and if you move you WILL die. Now here comes the decoy's job. Player 2 that was waiting at the bottom of the elevator comes up the elevator and Crawmerax will turn to attack him exposing his rear weak points to you. Make sure to stay DOWN and crouched in the glitched spot and snipe or aim well with your long range weapons and crit his rear weak point. (when the other player comes up you are no longer safe while he is alive so stay where you are.) If your partner dies and you stay in the glitched spot Crawmerax should not attack you and turn to face you and start roaring again and all his buddies should freeze. (make sure your decoy does not run towards you, have him run to the right when he leaves the elevator. Rinse and repeat with your decoy coming up the elevator and you sniping the final weak spot. When he pops enjoy the achievement and the massive amount of loot he drops.

(((Again I cannot stress this enough... if your decoy or decoys are just downed and dying you are still VULNERABLE even in the glitched spot, take you shots quickly and have your decoys force respawn by pressing X. Most of the time Crawmerax will go back to being freeze glitched.)))

This tactic is a great way to farm legendary and pearl weapons on either playthrough. I also recommend if you do have more than one decoy this would be easier. Just have the one player go up and freeze glitch Cramerax and once only the rear weak point is left bring up the rest of your team and crush him, but keep the one guy in the glitch spot just in case.

Finally I did this as a lvl 61 Berserker using a scoped ammo regen smg that had about a 30% increased fire rate... (it really wasn't that powerful of a gun and I found it in the knoxx armory on playthrough 1) and a legendary orion sniper for the final rear critical point it did about 900 damage a shot even though my sniper proficiency is only a level 9, my partner was a level 52 hunter THANKS Anaxaminder !!!!

DOING THIS ALONE via SPLITSCREEN is just a matter of timing.

If you decide to try this you can use any two characters still but I recommend your decoy be a soldier so you can level him up to about a lvl31 ish and equip soldier class mods that team regen ammo just in case you haven't found any regen ammo guns. (Do any leveling in the knoxx DLC because it goes super fast, or (SPOILERS) the area near the vault with all the guardians.

Splitscreen works the same as the solution above except when you send your decoy up make sure to keep your main character in the glitch spot and take a quick shot maybe 2 or 3 depending on your long range fire rate, then RESPAWN your decoy quickly because Crawmerax will turn on you even if your decoy is just downed. Once you force respawn the decoy as long as you in the glitched spot Crawmerax will re freeze glitch and you can rinse repeat.

thanks alot bro you helped me out alot. you can get two people up there on both sides of him while he is frozen if one goes to the right and hides in a corner similar to the one on the left by the wall. my friend and i just beat him in like 5 mins and we were both soldiers and he was a level 60. it works perfectly.

Thanks for the method, it worked for us. Took about 45 minutes, my co-op partner was a Berserker (went up first) and I was a Hunter so it is finally possible without a Siren! Hoorah!

I'm trying to do this method, but I can't even reach the end of the ledge without being swarmed by the little worms. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

If you are trying it with two controllers you can use one as bait. I had the same trouble - my berserker does not run fast. A siren works best but I didn't start one of those. Keep trying or find some friends - that's what I have had to do. Just can't seem to do it on my own. I will probably try again and use the second controller to hide in the glitch spot and see if that helps.

First i will respond to those that need help. I am also a berserker and to get to the spot when i am the only one up there i start berserk mode just as i get to the top, run over to the glitch spot and hit select FAST to get out of berserk mode and exit that screen and hit crouch FAST to get the glitch to work. Most of the time i don't have to i just run over and duck, but sometimes the smaller worms get me as our character is very slow.

Playthrough 1 or 2 only changes the item drops based on the level of the host I believe. I have killed him 7 times today on playthrough 2 farming, and have not seen one pearl (the ultra rare light blue guns) drop. We killed him with 2 hunters both with find rare items +2 mods equipped and myself and one other guy. Just a bunch of legendary weapons. Still hopeful and if I find any info on how to get Crawmerax to drop better loot I will post it in the solution.

Just a note from playing this with Darksky602 both across Live and splitscreen at his place the Siren can stand and so can the Hunter but ONLY AFTER Crawmerax has gone into his glitch. We haven't tested this with the Soldier or the Berserker, but we assume that they may actually be too large by the AI standard and may be seen.

Also once glitched the other worms will glitch too and it is recommended to take them out for XP purposes as well as making it easier when others come up the elevator to be the decoys.

Green Craw = Fire Elemental guns.
Purple Craw = Acid Elemental guns.
Crawmaggots = Lightning Elemental guns.

Hope this helps.

Just did this, took a bit longer than I thought and didn't have unlimited ammo, but glad to have it done. The only hard part was hitting the spot on his back as he would turn to me and start doing his yelling thing.

Ok, this MAY be my imagination and this MAY be stupid to say but I thought I would just throw this out there. Ok I'm sure anyone who farms this guy for good gear trys to do so with their character's plus whatever rare finds stuff. In my case(bare in mind this is just my obsrevations) Crawmerax always drops super garbage while I'm wearing my +2 team rare finds class mod, even more so when my buddy is in the game with his. Has this happend to anyone else?

My friend plays lvl 61 hunter with +3 extra item +2 rare item mod. I am a lvl 61 soldier with no item mod. We have killed Craw about 15 times and we get 4-8 oranges every time. We have never had a cyan(pearlescent) weapon drop.

I've gotta say, my hope for this strategy was dwindling, but persistence paid off. I finally got him to glitch in the correct spot. My advice is to just keep trying until he glitches.

Also, if you have a gun with reflecting projectiles (the Madjack) or one that is affected by gravity (Leviathan, which is what I used), you can forgo using a second player entirely. This way, you can stay in the same spot, Craw will stay in the same spot, and you can either ricochet the bullets off the pillar to the left of Craw, or try to drop the Leviathan rockets onto his back. Either way it takes some time to set up the aim (make sure Aim Assist is off as well), but once you've got the correct angle, you'll be able to hit Craw's back no problem. Worked wonderfully for me, but sadly no pearlescents.

Managed to use this method with me and a friend at level 57. Took a couple a tries, but thats because hitting him in the back became a problem, so eventually we did that first, which is what I recommend since thats where the majority of my restarts came from. Good solution.

great solution , I did it by myself with a second controller in split-screen. It was not to hard but it took a couple of tries. I didn't have anyone else to help me and I don't want to go online with modders, so this was my only choice. At least the only choice for me, I haven't found any great weapons yet, I have a few good ones but not good enough to take on craw and his crab boys. thanks for the solution I think it will help a lot of people in my situation.

WARNING this glitch does not always stay put. after trying many times i finally had just the spot on the back so i kept bringing my second player up the lift and even though he had his back to player 1, and i would re spawn my downed player 2, he would turn around and face me. after 3 tries the glitch just wore off and he killed my, 2 time i had him down to the spot on his back. im now under 9,999,999 in money.
i say fuck crawmerx this achievement can only be done with 2 real people playing and applying the glitch.

its possible to randomly join up with people on xbox live. I've found that most games in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx are Crawmerax farming runs. I was able to meet up with two people and we were able to beat crawmerax with a lvl 48 siren, lvl 55 hunter (myself) and a lvl 25 soldier. I just invited them to a party then invited them to my game. As long as one person stays in the glitch spot and survives you can slowly wear him down. Just be sure to share the loot and say thanks.

How in the fuck do you do this legitimately? Me and 4 other level 69's tried for an hour and couldn't do more than 5% damage to Crawmerax. We spent hours leveling up to 69 just to get two-shotted BY OTHER LEVEL 69s. Fucking pathetic. Good job Gearbox, you better not do any shit like this in Borderlands 2.

The glitch still works and hasn't been patched (Dec 2018). However it didn't go to plan for quite a few attempts - the nearest worm kept nailing me. Returning after some levelling up I could easily kill the nearest worm and boom! I was left alone on the ledge to execute the deed.

There's actually a little improved solo way with splitscreen I did last week.
You don't need to be close to level 64 on 1st playthrough, tho you need to have a second account with soldier who has class mod with ammo regen. For your main character the strategy is same as described many times.

1) Main character P1 - class: actually any, but I'm playing with hunter. My level was 51 during my attempts. But you may deal enough damage on 48-ish. I had wild equalizer revolver (with ammo regen) and gunslinger mod (also pistol ammo regen), and a decent shield ofc (800-1000 at least). And the most important: Rocket Launcher with very high accuracy (95-98), shooting 1 rocket at a time, it'll be okay if damage starts from 700 and so on, but I highly recommend to find at least around 1300 points of damage.

If you're all fine with part one:
2) Second character P2 - class: soldier, level is no matter, but need to fit the lesser requirements to be able equip a class mod. You need to find a class mod which regens ammo for your team. Doesn't necessary to have high ammo regen, you just need to have it, that's all. Weapons? No, you don't need any.

Strategy:
P2 stays at the beginning of the level and doesn't need to go anywhere. You need him just for buffing up your main with ammo regen (for all the weaponry).
P1 does all as usual: heading to the glitchy spot between N and NW, glitching Crawmerax and his goons, shooting off all the weak spots of the Crawmerax and when it's done, there goes the hardest part, but not if you met P2 requirements.

Off-topic note:
You probably have seen how in some guides people says: "Just aim for the spike at the back and shoot the rockets, you'll figure out the timing and it's done", well, not if you're level 49-59, cause no matter how cool your launcher and how much damage it'll say it deals, you'll probably just waste more than a half of your ammo aaaand end up with not dealing that much damage. Noice, we've wasted half of an hour (or more) to come out like a losers and just die.

Continue to strategy:
That's where P2 soldier does his job. You may shoot as many rockets to Crawmerax back spike as you need and non of them will be wasted, cause it'll regenerate. So now no matter if your hit deals 100 or 500 damage, you now have the guaranty that you'll kill that Crabbarmax before you ran out of rockets (cause you can't ran out of them).

Then *Boom* you'll find yourself with cheevo popping up and a great pile of high level weaponry raining from the above, which you probably won't be able to equip cause you're level 49 or around that, but you might save some goods for future if you want.

Notes:
- Found just perfect Rocket Launcher with 1500 dmg and 98% accuracy somewhere in Claptrap's New Robot Revolution DLC, closer to the end of main story or even after it. It was 2nd playthrough.
- Can't remember when I found a wild equalizer, I also had raw equalizer which has less accuracy, but that'll also do the job.
- You may probably do that with soldier in singleplayer if it's your main, but I dunno which equipment will fit him. You have to find our that yourself.

the clue is in the name: 'Achievement'.

Done this way, it's not an achievement, it's just 10 minutes of your life you'll never get back.

I don't understand why anyone would care if someone else uses a glitch to do this. If you want to do this the hard way, go for it. On another note, Me and my buddy ToxiicXDucky831 did this with two people. You don't really need everyone one to be a high level although it helps. He was a 38 or so, and a siren(of course). We just did what I'm sure most people do with a small group. Since I was a 61 it was my job to kill Crawmerax and Toxxic's job was to stay alive. That way incase I die Crawmerax doesn't get his life back. It took some time but we managed to do it for his playthrough and mine.
P.S. Can someone tell me if the playthrough(1 or 2) has any baring on the items he drops when he dies it would be very helpful, thanks.

Thankfully this still works. I did it with a single level 51 soldier, no split-screen, on playthrough 1. Crawmerax was level 64. Took about 20-30 minutes using sniper rifle to take out his appendages and eye. Without a decoy I had to use a rocket launcher with splash damage to target the tallest spine on his back. This part ended up taking over 2 hours because the most damage I could do from that angle was 4-5 per hit. Should have dropped out and restarted with a decoy, but I didn't think it would take that long and I was committed after the first 45-60 minutes.
I used to love Borderlands, after the clap-trap collectibles and Crawmerax, not so much. And I'm still not level 61

In response to A1BASE... no offense but some people don't have a "schedule" to easily put together 4 level 61 characters that actually know what they are doing. Running around the giant crab in a CIRCLE as a siren for 3 HOURS by yourself is as you say "not an achievement", and very boring. This also limits others who put a lot of time into the game as another character type. I posted this to help everyone else complete this game. Sometimes I look at finding different ways to approach an achievement as an achievement in itself... its called being creative and trying different strategies. Also this approach works great for farming weapons with one or two players, and finally if you say you never used a glitch "like knoxx's armory glitch" you are either a play only by the rules kinda guy or not telling the truth.

I figure since I farm him daily I would respond. We tested this the other day and these were the results. In a two player both lvl 61 farm on crawmerax with both +2 rare items we got about 3-5 orange or dark orange rare weapons. Without them we got 0 rare weapons. Then last night we ran 4 sirens all with +2 rare items cat mods and we got 1 rare orange weapon. I have run this with hunters as well the +4 to team items is useless because it stands for ammo, cash, and health paks only. +4 Ransack on the hunter mod could have change the drop but the hunter wearing the mod would have to kill a small craw worm then get the kill shot on crawmerax within seconds. I personally have found one pearlescent shield drop from crawmerax in splitscreen with another siren wearing with both of us having cat mods +2 to rare items on. I also found a pearlescent sniper in the armory by myself. So from all of the data I have personally collected the drops just seem totally random and little effects it. If you are looking to legit find the rare weapons the figures we are seeing come up on other sites and from personal experience is about 1 pearlescent drop for every 70-110 rare orange guns you see. I know that is a wide range but it is the feedback I am getting from just about everyone. Few people have gotten lucky and had two pearl drop from their first craw kill, but I like just about everyone else, don't believe it until I see it with my own eyes. Goodluck weapon hunters and feel free to hit me up on borderlands.

This is easily done by having more than one person and each having different mods to help you get this.

The video below shows a glitch where he gets stuck and you can shoot him as much as you like.

Our weapons didn't do as much damage but we were still able to kill him using the same method just took a little longer.

The mission is called "You. Will. Die" you can obtain it from the T-bone junction bounty board. I believe it appears once u finish the story of General Knoxx's armory, so after the credits roll.

*THE BEST SOLO TECHNIQUE OUT THERE*

This can be done by ANY class, regardless of level or skill point setup. I recommend using a soldier with a decent Supply Gunner mod, because you DO go through a lot of rounds here and I'd hate for you to run out. It's never a problem with me (I usually go in as a Rifleman or Heavy Gunner, personally), but ammo is the ONLY thing you have to be concerned about in this.

WHAT YOU NEED:
-Lots of ammunition
-Decent weapons that can hit the mark at long distances (nothing fancy required)
-LEVIATHAN (It rises!)

The technique is to do essentially what most others have outlined (and what you see in the video below). If you go up the elevator to Crawmerax, turn left toward the cliff and go all the way along it to the big cliff that makes the back side of the arena. Hide on the other side of the ledge there.

From there, just start unloading on his weak spots. Unless you've already beaten him (or a friend's given you weapons FROM him), you're probably not going to have anything powerful enough to take him out quickly. So, you'll want to find good timing and aim for your shots to maximize damage dealt without wasting too much ammo.

Once you've destroyed his eye and his four arms, you'll need to take out the weak point on his back. This is where Leviathan comes in. You'll want to aim above him so the rocket arcs and comes back down on the back side of his body. It'll probably take about 50-60 hits to take him out, but you WILL get it done! This is better than other rocket launchers because it hits more directly and does much more damage that way. I was doing 12-50 damage per hit with other launchers, but 225 with a Leviathan that had lower damage rating than the others.

With enough patience, you'll have yourself a new achievement (or possibly two) and a TON of new weapons to sort through!

NOTE: I recommend either only having what you NEED in your inventory when you go at him, or else having a second character logged in and chilling at the bottom of the elevator shaft. Crawmerax drops a LOT of loot, and it's easiest to sort through if you don't have to while it's on the ground. The more you can just pick up and move along, the better.

I used a soldier with a one point assigned to the Scorpio Turret's "Supply Drop". Even with only one point I never came close to running out of ammo, ever. Also used mods that help the turret.
Submachine guns were good for whittling away the front critical spots. Crawmerax waves his arms so much it was easier to "spray and pray" than aim.
For the back, I didn't have a Leviathan so instead I used a "Crimson" rocket launcher. It fires 3 rockets that spiral as they fly forward. Most shots don't have any effect, but enough shots hit his back critical spot to eventually kill it.
It took a while, but otherwise was one of the easiest boss fights in the game.
Also, I played pretty far into Knoxx on Playthrough 2 until I got tired of being killed on the highway by floating garbage cans that are always at least one level above. By the time I'd quit, I'd amassed some decent weapons that I used to go back into Playthough 1 and fight Crawmerax.

Very slowly I was able to use a combination of Shotgun and Rocket launcher to defeat him on playthrough 2 level 72 Crawmerax. So this solution many years later still works.

Just tested and it still works. I had really bad gear and I was at level 51, it took me nearly two hours to beat this with this method.

For those of you with the minion problem, it’s a case of getting to that corner ASAP, sometimes the minions may get to you first but don’t give up, keep trying till they all stay where they are and you’re not taking damage from anything, then as long as you stay in the same spot, you can damage the boss. Although don’t jump, I tried to be cocky and use my turret to damage away but I got killed for this!

this is the best way to do it solo. and using the Leviathan rocket launcher is the safest and easiest way to hit his back. if, for whatever reason, Crawmerax is turned too far so you can't shoot the leviathan directly at him (like in the video) you can aim almost straight up. it will take some trial and error, but eventually you'll find the sweet spot in the sky that you need to aim for in order to drop the rockets onto his back.

i found in the glitch spot that if i crouched i had a much lower chance to get hit. if i stood up all the time occasionally i would get knocked.

another thing is to make sure your controller you're using doesn't have any drift to it. if your character random starts walking left or right you will get hit eventually; even if you're only barely moving.

This guy can easily be beaten with two, three or four lvl 61's (I haven't tried to solo it). The key is to have one person's job to stay alive no matter what. As long as one person is alive at the top of the elevator he will not go back to full health. I perfer to use a siren for this as they are difficult to kill. As soon as you get to the top of the elevator start running to your left, there is a little spot that drops down and if you duck down they (most of the time) won't bother you. From here you can controll which direction he looks by shooting him and controlling the aggro, this opens up his weak points on his back and claws to the rest of your team as you attack the eye. He has one long range attack that can devastate your sheilds and health, a siren can easily brush this off with phasewalk, this strategy can be applied to the little worm guys that bug you if you have too much aggro. It's important that people stay spread apart to avoid some wide area attacks but also remain close enough that you can heal each other. IMPORTANT! If it's too risky to pick up a teammate just let them die. As long as the one that's hiding remains stationary in that spot and stays alive then everyone else is expendable. Don't worry about the money, you'll get enough loot at the end to compensate. I've successfully used this strategy many times now and can get it down to 10 minutes.

Hope this helps! Good luck everyone!

EDIT You can do this with people over xbox live as well.

You can do this solo in split screen with 2 controllers. After you reach the top of the lift turn a little bit to the right, near the cliff you will see a V shape cut in the rocks. As fast as you can run there with your second character and crouch in the gap. If you were quick enough your enemies should ignore you. Now with your powerful main character get downed in front of crawmerax on the left hand side of the map. You should be free to shoot his week spots with any powerful weapons. When you die just repeat this. Your secondary character should be alive to stop crawmerax regenerating. It should only take about 25-30 minutes.

Crawmerax can be killed easily with several people, or solo if you're a siren without relying on the glitch. The maggots are vulnerable to electricity, the green worms to fire, and the armored worms to corrosive. First, kill the minions until you have three armored worms. (If you have a good smg or shotgun, you can kill them very fast, and there are always three total in the area at any time). Having someone with ammo regeneration or a weapon that does helps alot as well. It also helps to weaken them a bit and not kill them, so you can second wind faster. For Crawmerax you need to shoot off all six of his critical locations. Anything works, but two weapons that I think work very well are the Liquid Orion sniper rifles, since it's special effect sends bolts in different dirrections, you can actually hit him in several places with one shot; also double anarchy smgs(the ones that fire four bullets at a time) The anarchies make it so much easier to hit his spots. Also, it is worth noting that you can hit his claw spots from the front, even if you cant see them, just aim where the sphere is and you'll still hit them. Also, never stand near the edge where the elevator/cliff is; you can get sent flying off.
As a group, try to stay close but not bunched up, you can revive your partner even if crawmerax is attacking him as long as your partner is directly between you and crawm', he won't actually hit you. If you stay on opposite ends of the arena, you can shoot him whenever he's not looking, but the worms may run after someone else if you get downed. Finally, make sure someone stays alive no matter what (duh)
If your solo siren, you can farm him easilly. Follow mentioned above, with one difference. Stay near the pillar and the arch of rock in the arena (the arch especially) he can't get through it, and must go around, while you shoot him the whole time. It also blocks those sphere attacks he uses, but he can melee you between the arch if your too close, so be careful.
Anyway, I hope this helps.

Another thing that helped me is the elemental guns that kill his little buddies.
Craw maggot-dies very easy with shock damage
Green craw things- die very easy with fire
Armored craw worms- die very easy with acid

With all 3 types of these elemental guns killing his cronies around Crawmerax is very easy

I just got the achievement with my friend he was a soldier and died alot i was a siren which is highly recommended. The soldiers ammo regeneration is VERY important. this fight can last from 30 mins to 2 hours.

Playing a Siren?

Lucky! With a bit of preperation you can survive the Dance with Crawmerax all on your own. I wiped a few times until I got the strategy right but then it just went through like a breeze.

I farmed the armory until I had the proper equipment, if this is the first time you are reading about this do some research on the web. 'Borderlands armory glitch' gets you all the info you will need.

Here's a video that Shows the strategy (full credit to Arthur Gardner, he posted this back in 2010):
You WILL beat this guy if you got the right weapons and are executing the strategy like in the video. If you are running into Problems with the armored enemies that only means that you are not putting enough distance between you and Crawmerax.

They will ALL chase you if you do it right.

Good luck! :)

This is probably the hardest achievement in the DLC to do solo since he is level 64 on both playthroughs. Crawmerax is a giant lobster type monster that you fight during the quest "You. Will. Die." The hardest part about him is that both he and the little minions he has running around him can take almost all your health in just one hit. This means that you need to use a lot of teamwork with your partners to ensure that no one is concentrated on by the enemy. The way to actually injure Crawmerax is to shoot the purple soft spots on his body. He has six in total - one in his eye, one on each of his four claws and one on his back. Once the final purple spot is destroyed, Crawmerax will fall and drop a LOT of loot (very rarely pearlescents though).

In addition to the above, there are a couple of other little tips that may help you defeat this giant lobster.
- For his minions that annoy the heck out of you, the Green Craw Worms are weak against fire, the Armored Craw Worms are weak against corrosive, and Craw Maggots are weak against shock.
- There is a spot you can get Crawmerax stuck in that can really help you kill him fast. Read HERE for more info. Thanks to Powerman1469 for the help.

The easiest way to earn this trophy is to play as Lilith. You will want to utilize the ledge glitch (see video below) to defeat Crawmerax. If you are skilled enough with a rocket launcher, proceed to use any class and take out Crawmerax's weak spot in his back using the method in the video. Credit goes to wavern's channel.

When using Lilith, instead of using a rocket launcher, you can enter the field of play where Crawmerax and his minions will attack you. Lure them to either side of the huge rock formations on either side of to map. Once you've done this, activate her action skill and run over to the opposite rock formation where Crawmerax is. Allow the action skill to recharge and then proceed to pop out and shoot Crawmerax in the back until he charges at you. Rinse and repeat. See video below. Credit goes to Matt Pascual.

Happy Hunting :)

Kravmerax "invincible" is a huge crab that can be killed by taking on the task "You.Will.Die." after completing all story missions.

Kravmerax has lvl 64 for any playthrough. Because your max level 61 crawmerax will take very little damage, the only way to kill him is to shoot at the "weak spots" (eye, back, back of legs/paws/whatever it is), the weak spots are colored bright purple and glow, they are hard to miss and if you get into such a place you will inflict 100% crit on Kravmerax. You should go to Kravmerax with a team of 4 people (personally I went with 3 but there were people who killed him in pairs or alone), the more people there are, the faster and easier it will be to kill him. So a couple of things to keep in mind:
-Your team must have a siren, in the event of the death of all other characters, she will have to hold out at the top (near the crab) until the rest of the players return (for this, the “Phasewalk” helps her greatly)
-Kravmerax is surrounded by smaller crabs, but this does not make them weaker; such a crab will take you out in 2-3 hits. There are only 3 types of them:
Green Craw Worms - weak to fire
Craw Maggots - weak to electricity and melee attacks
Armored Craw Worms - weak to corrosion
Kravmerax himself is weak to electricity. Because you will encounter many well-defended enemies that are only weak to 1 element, I strongly advise you to bring a weapon with each element required.
-to get to Kravmerax you will need to take the elevator, the elevator takes 15 seconds up and 15 seconds down, i.e. To call the elevator down and go up you will need at best 30 seconds.
As long as at least 1 team member is at the top where Kravmerax hangs out, our freak will not resume life; as soon as the moment comes when there is no one at the top, the battle starts all over again. - The last thing I want to wish is to have patience, time and money. The battle will be quite long, you will most likely die more than once before you get into the rhythm of the battle. Do not underestimate this enemy because... he is considered the most powerful boss in the game.

Easy to kill alone, you need to find one secret place. Video guide . The problem is to get to the point without getting killed. It doesn't always work out on the first try.

We join the level 69 player(s) and ask for help with the trophy. I got it this way, by accident, without even going up the elevator with my party members.

There is another way to get the achievement: join the game online (it’s not so difficult) because it’s good to level up there in one go... entered 58, left 61, you don’t even have to go upstairs and stand at the bottom by the elevator until Kravmerax’s untimely death.
