How to unlock the Great Escape achievement in Boulder Dash-XL - Definitive Guide

You will need to beat all 100 levels of Arcade Mode for this. It starts to get challenging as early as the 30-40 levels, but it never really gets impossibly hard or anything.
The annoying part will be the fact that the level design often expects you to perform parts in a certain, exact way (like Puzzle Mode), and those parts always have to be at the end of a 3 minute level. Of course!
For levels like that, it's nice to take help from Mahalo's guide series. I've linked the first video so you can keep clicking through, but I won't include all 90+ videos in this solution. Unfortunately, the guides skip over several hard or frustrating levels and, also unfortunately, I didn't write down what those were so I can't provide specific tips except for level 45: remember that you can grab the key below the metal boulder with the arm extension!
Another thing to note is that the guy playing for Mahalo didn't figure out the "hold A and press a direction" move until halfway through puzzle mode, so he doesn't seem to use it at all through these 100. Keep that in mind and you can do many parts much easier and faster than what he's doing.

There are 100 caves in Arcade mode. They open 5 at a time. When you complete 4 of them, the next 5 will unlock. This may take approximately 8+ hours to complete depending on your skill level.
