You will need to recycle 30 items for this.

Weapons, Armor, and upgrades can be recycled. If you have an upgrade attached to a weapon or piece of armor when it is recycled, then it will only count as 1 item. So, you should go into your crafting menu for an item and recycle any upgrade you have for it before recycling the entire item.

You can get this early if you keep crafting upgrades or buying weapons/armor from vendors and recycling them. Otherwise by the time you get a little ways into Act 2 you should have accrued enough weapons and armor to recycle 30 items. Unless of course you have been selling items instead.

You can also keep track of your recycling by going to: feats -> crafting - > craftsman (10 recycled objects) or master craftsman (20 recycled objects) (unless these have already been acquired). Unlocking these improve the odds of receiving ingredients when recycling objects.

In order to recycle armor, weapons, or upgrade items simply open your menu by pushing (Options on PS4) and highlighting an the item you want to recycle in your inventory or upgrade screen. Once the item is highlighted, push to recycle it. Note that while it doesn't effect this trophy, you can upgrade the "Master Craftsmen" perk to obtain more items per recycled item.

When you recycle weapons, armor or upgrade items they turn into baser crafting materials. In order to earn this trophy you must choose to recycle 30 different objects in your inventory. This trophy will come fairly naturally as long as you're recycling items rather then selling them.
