To reach max love level with the Talwar, you can run either dungeon to gain XP and also give gifts when prompted throughout the game on dates and dungeons.

Confirmed Perfect Gifts for the Talwar are (this is what I used with the Talwar; there is likely more- please comment them if you find them & I will edit):

Raspberry Vodka
Dark Eyeliner
Red Rose

But pretty much any gift will do in combination with running the dungeons.

This appears to have glitched for me. Have completed the story, level 6 love ranking with all other weapons and have Sunder at level 5 (1345/225 on his level/love meter). Have tried everything I can think of to get him to message me but no luck. Quite infuriating.

I will see if I can re-download the game today and see if there's a workaround, but this may be a glitch.

For everyone saying they can not get the Talwar to level 6, I have done a 2nd play through and I can not counter the same issue. I just now realized that the Talwar is my preferred weapon and was my 1st maxed weapon on both play throughs. If this is glitched, perhaps try leveling the talwar to maxed first and then focus on other weapons to avoid this issue again.
