To reach max love level with the Brass Knuckles, you can run either dungeon to gain XP and also give gifts when prompted throughout the game on dates and in the dungeons.
Confirmed Perfect Gifts for the Brass Knuckles are (this is what I used with the Knuckles; there is likely more- please comment them if you find them & I will edit):
