This requires you to max love (level 6) with all weapons. Dungeon runs are the way to level your weapons. The best route I found is stick to 1 weapon and go through the dungeons till you max affection rank. Between floors you can see your affection level and change or keep using current weapon. Progress does carry over through ranks so do not be afraid to give gifts at the rest areas in the dungeons(it’s a free full heal anyways). Every few floors you can leave the dungeon via an elevator located by the stairs down. You do get an experience bonus for leaving the dungeon alive either by beating the boss or leaving on the elevator. When you leave the dungeon by dying or elevator and head to your apartment make sure to read your phone and go through all the dialog and meet up for any dates available before you head back to the dungeon again. Sometimes you will have a character affection maxed but no date is available, to fix that just run another dungeon or do another date to send you back to your apartment.
At around level 30 you will have the rank of Master Weilder, and get double weapon experience for all weapons. It becomes easy to level all the weapons extremely fast at this point.
Damage is based on player level and not the romance level of your weapon. So don’t be afraid to take a low level weapon into late dungeon levels.

The double experience is gained from the Whetstone that (I believe) your first rank 6 love gives you (mine was Valeria the Dagger). The whetstone also allows you to gain experience over the next level with any weapon. Previous to that I’m almost positive it’s wasted.
Now the above might vary between playthroughs based on who you date or whatever, but you should probably amend your advice that previous to your first rank 6 love experience can definitely be wasted.
Once you can over-level a weapon, go on the rank upgrade date, you need to Dunj or date (somehow make time pass) to trigger their next date. Cycling between weapon dates is probably the fastest way to do this, or just do a final Dunj boss.

Achievement was bugged out until the patch that dropped today for many. If you got hit with it sadly it’s not retroactive, you will have to replay on a new save or file that isn’t already max on all love ranks. But this persons guide is still good!
