Story related, after defeating
this will unlock, you can only do this once you've ranked a single weapon up to level 6. Which if you've focused on a single weapon this should be done by the time you've been tbf second dungeon.

If i do this and finish the game, can i still play after to get remaining achievements (particularly those bugged ones once they are fixed?) or load a save just before?

Wrong information. Finished both dungeons, 2 weapons maxed out, still nothing. Looks like to get to the end you need to go and date with Eric or Rowan.

If you're here, you may be wondering how to actually fight against the last boss. This fight was a big step up in difficulty compared to the previous boss fights, in my opinion, especially if you don't know what to do.
Phase 1, try to avoid his dash moves, and pick your spots to get damage in. Have that healing button ready as it's pretty hard to avoid getting damaged. Good thing there are a lot of healing items around the perimeter.
Phase 2 never really gave me a problem, just damage the boss and avoid the weapon.
Phase 3 - right after the dialogue - was the confusing part for me. The way to damage the boss at this point is to let the orbs that are fired from the perimeter hit the boss in the middle, damaging him. I was using the lasersaber, which has a big AOE attack, to try to damage the boss. The aoe effect was killing the orbs, which is counterproductive because it makes the fight last longer, making it more likely that you will die to the environmental damage.
The best way I found to handle phase 3 is to hang out in the back middle of the room, avoid the orbs, avoid the black/purple spots that open up on the ground, and keep an eye out for the arms that swipe across half the room. You just have to move to the side opposite the arm to avoid that. There should be plenty of healing items around for when you need them. Then you just play the waiting game to let the orbs do their thing.
Phase 4 I don't think can be failed. Just hit the pinata a few times for the win.
