Bravery and Greed

So as this is under free play days during this weekend i just started and im noticing it feels like mage could be one of the best characters to play in the game as it has a charge attack that bounces a orb around the screen making it much easier to do higher damage with a decent range to the standard melee attack. i only did one run as the mage choosing chaos as my path and i ended up beating the game upon my second run overall. just click the character image to change your class. there are 5 total levels all of which must be beaten in a given run to go to the final area which honestly even with mage the enemies felt tanky in the dwarven sky fortress. so it could just boil down to i had a lucky break on my 2nd run. either way i still feel best bet play mage for the range so you dont need to be point blank to do any damage
