Simple enough, KO 25 opponents in matchmaking.
To increase your chances for getting them quickly, I will suggest you go for this in “free for all”. In FFA there are three other opponents and no KO limit, so this is optimal for higher KO/game output. Stay away from any game-types with a KO limit.

I'm assuming my Brawl of the Week KOs don't count because I have over 100 KOs just in this mode and no achievement, I am using snowballs because its the "Frosty" Brawl of the Week. Only recently started playing this game.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t count but it’s possible. I played a bit of everything so I’m not sure what modes might not count.
