How to unlock the Persistent achievement in Breathedge - Definitive Guide

This is not the same as the PC achievement seen on other VODs. In order to get this, dock in the initial docking location at "Debris in Orbit", after leaving "Shepard's Grave". Your hands will release the steering wheel. Grasp the steering wheel again a further six times and it should unlock.

I'm not able to replicate this on Xbox. Is it missable in the story? I've tried docking and redocking at both the first docking station in the story and the permanent docking ring after beating the game. Game forces you to grab wheel, fly a sec then back, dock again, then grab again, and repeat. Doesn't even seem like an achievement activity. Can you clarify? (I've seen the pc version)

It's quite possible that this is a missable achievement. I did it in flow with the story, as soon as it was possible to be done, in 'Debris in Orbit', as named on the ship map.

As soon as the ship had docked at that location and my character released their grip on the steering wheel, I immediately turned around and proceeded to grip the steering again, multiple times.

Worked for me as described. As soon as you dock, a prompt shows saying "take the wheel". Continued to press B while the suit told me the engines had failed. Repeated 6 times and it popped.

It's missable for sure if you don't do it before repairing the ship, your chance to get it is in chapter 4, not chapter 2 like the steam guide mentions. I was trying to do it for a while in chapter 2 and couldn't work out what was going on. Just progress the game until you dock / slam into the repair station thats the time to do it, keep hitting B until it pops I think it was 5 or 6 times.

The trophy is easy to miss. After you take your first flight on the Normandy, reach the "diagnostic station". You need to try to use the steering wheel six times.
