The criteria for this on PC is to kill 7-10 Robot coffins in Chapter 4 when you fix up the Normandy.
Now, if your like me and you go for the Machine Gunner achievement in this first gun area (best place to do so) you will kill around 50 enemies and the Undertaker achievement wont pop.
If this happens to you simply manual save and quit the game, load it back up and load your Manual save again, should pop once you load in!

I also went for the machine gunner achievement, but after 6 kills I manually saved, reloaded and on my next kill, this popped.
