How to unlock the Truck insignia 'Tamassee' achievement in Bridge Constructor - Definitive Guide

There is a pretty cheap way to pass some of these levels with minimal resources. You can simply running a steel cable underneath the wooden bridge and connect a few nodes with vertical pieces of wood. It will not be stable at all or look pretty, but at least you'll pass the level! I have taken screenshots of each of my set-ups and included them below for your help. These set-ups probably don't work for tankers since the trucks barely make it across. When I connect to the road, you have to make sure you create your road with those nodes as well. Or else, the supports will fall down since they have no node connecting to the road. For example, on bridge 2, create your road with that off node on the left so the steel can connect and snap to it. Also note of bridges 2, 4, and 7 I have placed some steel sections of road, in case it has become habit to you to place wooden and overlook the steel.

For bridge 3, I couldn't get that one to work this worked, and it's easier build:

Both cars and regular trucks are available when you begin the game. Since a regular truck is heavier than a car, if you make a bridge that works for regular trucks then you are assured that cars will also work. In other words, the 'Car' versions of these trophies do stack with the regular 'Truck' versions of these trophies.

With that said, there is a trophy stacking glitch with this. If you only drive regular trucks across your bridges when the 'Truck' trophies unlock the 'Car' trophies should also unlock at the same time, but they do not. Thankfully there is a simple fix for this: load any completed bridge on that island and re-run the test using cars. You do not need to rebuild the bridge. Redoing the bridge simulation with cars will unlock the 'Car' version of the regular 'Truck' trophies that you have already unlocked.

This trophy explanation contains all of the information necessary for 10 of the trophies in this game. The land of Camatuga consists of 5 islands, and this is the overall map screen that you will see when you begin the game. The land of SlopeMania - Tiltin Islands has no bearing on these trophies and have their own separate set of trophies. The trophies consist of completing all bridges for these 5 islands. Each island has 6 required bridges plus 2 optional bridges. To complete these trophies you must complete all 40 bridges (5 islands x 8 bridges). They must be completed sequentially as they unlock in a specific order.

The basic process here is to complete an island using regular trucks (all 8 bridges) to unlock its trophy. Right after that, handle the car trophy stacking glitch by reloading one of your completed bridges and running some cars over it. Repeat this for the other four islands.

There are two major exploits that can be used with the 'Car' and regular 'Truck' trophies. In fact, it rather wrecks the fun of the game. However, if all you care about is trophies then by all means view the information in the spoiler that explains these exploits. Please realize that the spoiler information below will show you how to easily complete all 40 bridges in Camatuga for cars and regular trucks.

Exploit #1: Suspension Cables

This is an exploit because the suspension cables are too strong. For all bridges that have this material you can use it to create the same bridge layout, regardless of width. Basically you create a natural 'U' with the road so that when gravity pulls it down it rounds out nicely. After that, add vertical short wood supports every 1-2 road sections. Last, span suspension cables across the bottom. The picture below is an example of the largest bridge (120m) that you will do.

Exploit #2: Double Wood Road

This is an exploit because frankly it wouldn't work in real life; they would completely shear apart. First, you create a natural 'U' with the road so that when gravity pulls it down it rounds out nicely. Second, add a second row of beams directly underneath the road sections that is only one graph space down and the connections points line up vertically. Last, add short vertical wood supports between these connection points every 1-2 road sections. You may need to add or remove some of these short vertical wood supports. The picture below is an example of the largest bridge (100m) that you will do. Believe it or not, but if you add too many short vertical supports to this bridge it will fail; only add what is necessary to get the trucks across.

Exceptions

There are two bridges where these exploits do not work. The only reason for this is because the exploits cause the bridges to sink lower than is allowed. Possible solutions for these two exceptions are shown below.

The Ridge - Bridge 3

The Ridge - Bridge 5

After successfully driving across a bridge with the regular trucks, you will be taken to a success screen. This is when the trophies will unlock (should have you met all the conditions).

This requires all trucks to have crossed all bridges on the fifth island and ideally, all bridges before including the optional ones that aren't required to progress. For a quick and easy playthrough refer to the guides located athttps://www.bridgeconstructor.net/. These have all been tested and work for trucks so you shouldn't have any trouble flying through the five main islands. It's also worth noting that once you have constructed your bridge and you are ready to send the vehicles across, select the trucks first because once they cross it will automatically qualify the cars as being able to cross, meaning you don't have to send both sets of vehicles across.

If you don't want to use a guide, your main focus should be creating bridges strong enough to support trucks. Remember that creating triangles is a good way of strengthening your bridge as well as using cables to anchor them to one another and the ends of the bridge span. Unless you are an engineer this will likely involve trial and error until you find a solid structure that fits within your budget.
