The walkthrough forgets to tell you that you need to give the maidens a second batch of cereal and speak to them again before you trigger the alarm or you miss this achievement. I know walkthroughs are time consuming and can be difficult at times but authors need to realize being incomplete or giving a left for a right is almost as bad as having nothing.

You can still obtain this. Before you go into the red room after getting the star map. Make you way to the fake control room then don’t do the red door go into the teleported room and then trophy teleporter. Go through the vent in wall and talk to them again and the achievement will pop. Hope this helps

I ended up doing this on my 2nd playthrough during the speed run, after missing it while following the walk-through on my first playthrough.
Make a save as you come into Marek's hideout next to the Trophy Room on your second act with Vella (you should have cereal in your inventory after dropping the bomb in the garbage shute).
You will click the panel next to the glowing door where the maidens are in Marek's Hideout and then start a conversation with them. This is key: DO NOT SKIP ANY OF THE DIALOG WHILE TALKING WITH THE MAIDENS. LET IT PLAY OUT AND EXHAUST ALL DIALOG OPTIONS.
After saying you can give them cereal, drop the cereal on the ground and take their hook. Then talk to them again and wait. The achievement popped for me a few seconds after finishing the conversation. This is annoying to have to do but the coding for the achievement does not seem to register that you have exhausted all of the dialog if you skip listening to any of it.
If you did this on your speed run, reload your save after getting the achievement and power through this quickly skipping dialogso you don't have to worry about the added time to your run.

Great solution, did it exactly like this and it worked. Before I didn’t exhaust the dialogue or talked to them again. I’m glad I made a manual save after dropping the bomb into the chute.

In Vella Act 2 after you have dropped the bomb in the trash chute you will get some cereal. Go to the teleporter room and teleport to the trophy room. Then go left to Marek's room. In here you will see the door where the Maidens are and a panel hanging off the wall. Examine the panel and you can then start talking to the Maidens.
Exhaust all the conversations and then use the cereal on the door. Grab the hook from them as they are using to try and get the cereal. Talk to them once more and use any other dialogue options and the trophy will pop.
