Anyone else find this one bugged? I was trying to play the game as much as possible without looking at achievement guides, but just had a quick look at the list and noticed this should have unlocked earlier in the story. It should be unmissable, right?

Before anyone asks, I wasn't using Quick Resume.

Yeah same thing happened to me. Sadly I didn’t have a manual save so I had to start over but it only took me a few minutes. Doing it again unlocked the achievement fine, so I think I’ll save before all achievements from now on.

Story Related and Unmissable.

In Vella Act 1 after the surprise party you will be offered up to Mog Chothra, escape him by using the towel on the bird when it comes to close to getting the chicken leg and then using the knife on your dress. The trophy will pop as you make your daring escape.

Story related; cannot be missed.

Vella - Act One

For this you will be among other ladies about to be sacrificed.  Talk to the ladies, wishing them luck so the MOG can show up, then follow these steps.
 
  • Speak to the woman in blue twice, asking for her water.
  • Speak to the woman in yellow and offer her the water, then again to offer her the cloth.
  • Put the corset on the bird and then use the knife on yourself to cut free.

Story trophy, impossible to miss.

  • Talk to each of the girls
  • Ask the girl with the bottle for water (twice)
  • Give a bottle of water to the girl with meat
  • Give the towel to the girl with the meat
  • Grab the bird with your corset
  • Cut off the rest of the dress with a knife
