During the second part of Act 1 you will be trying to gain access to the Maidens Feast. See the walkthrough if you need to know how to get access.
When the battle starts, Mog Chothra (the big brain looking goon) will take the other 2 maidens, leaving you to fight him alone. Head into you inventory and equip the detonator you got from Alex’s ship. And use it on Mog Chothra.
When the reticle appears aim for its legs. After you’ve destroyed 3 of its 4 legs, it picks you up. Head into your inventory snd switch to the ladder and use it on its mouth. At this point the beast will drop you. Equip the detonator once more and shoot it in it’s mouth.
Sit back and enjoy the cutscene to find how our main characters paths cross.

This is from Vella Act 1. To get this you need to get into the Maidens Festival at Shellmound and create the Death Ray in the Dead Eye God's tomb. Once you have done this, talk to the Marshall to join the Festival and then use the laser to take down three of Mog Chothra's Legs, he will then grab you, use your ladder in his mouth, and then use the Death Ray one more time on his mouth. The trophy will pop when the cutscene ends.

After you have completed the tasks in the sea town and spoke to the mayor this will start a boss like battle. You need to use the death ray on three of the MOG's tentacles. It will then pick you up for you to use the ladder on its mouth. When you are back down use the death ray on the mouth of MOG.
