Vella Act 2

While this trophy is based on an unmissable storyline event, it is perfectly possible not to complete this puzzle correctly on your first attempt, therefore the trophy itself is missable.

After increasing the size of Vella's head by using two different teleporters, you will need to talk to Shay's Mom through the door of the real control room. She will ask you three questions and these must be answered correctly first time. Instead of giving you the answers straight off, I've included hints as to where to find the solutions. If you really don't want to work them out, click on the spoilers.

1. What was the name of your favourite stuffed animal as a child?
Hint: Look at the photograph on the top shelf in the Trophy Room. You'll see Shay with his favourite stuffed toy snake. As Shay, visit the snake that is outside of Curtis' house. Shay will call the snake this name repeatedly as the snake squeezes him.


2. Of all my little pet names for you, which one was your favourite?
Hint: For this one, you needed to have paid attention to the dialogue in Act 1 whenever Shay's Mom gave him a nickname.


3. Please tell me what was the color, size, and pattern of his very first space boots?
Hint: You'll need to work this out through a process of elimination by using the clues in the Trophy Room. Use the photograph on the top shelf, the fireman drawing, the child's note, the boots trophy, the medical report and the teeth.
