How to unlock the Arms Dealer achievement in Brotato - Definitive Guide

You'll need to unlock Arms Dealer first by recycling 12 weapons during a run which also unlocks

BrotatoRecyclingThe Recycling achievement in Brotato worth 40 pointsRecycle 12 weapons during a run

Select this Brotato before a run and complete it by killing the boss/bosses on Wave 20. Difficulty or Enemy settings (in gameplay options) do not matter.

For an easier run play on Danger 0 with Enemy settings for Health, Damage, and Speed to 25% which is the minimum setting.

For an average or more difficult run play on Danger 5 with Enemy settings at default.

For survivability be sure to build items/upgrades with Max HP, HP Regeneration, and Lifesteal bonuses. Building items and weapons that synergize with your character's stats is recommended.

FWIW, this was the character I used to win my first-ever run. Found it incredibly easy due to the weapons being so cheap each time you go to the shop.

Completed 3 runs with arms dealer now. Twice with default stats and once with the lowest options and this is the only character I've not had the achievement unlock for.

Did another run today after reinstalling and no luck. Ended up clearing my game progress, unlocking arms dealer, and running it again. Finally popped.

Sucks you had to clear game progress but glad you were able to get it at least.

The key to winning a run with Arms Dealer is rerolling and locking in weapons in the shop AFTER you’ve already bought weapons for the upcoming wave. This sets yourself up for the following wave. For example, let’s say you just finished wave 8. In the shop, buy weapons for wave 9. Then lock in weapons for wave 10 (next time you enter the shop and lose all current weapons).

For the first 5 waves, buy the available weapons and collect as much materials as you want.
In the shop after wave 5, use the following set up…

1. Buy at least 3-4 weapons for the upcoming wave – you’ll need about 50-75 material.
2. Lock in to save any items (not weapons) that you want (1 or 2).
3. Use the free reroll (since you have the Bunny item automatically); this will add 1 or 2 weapons
4. Lock in those weapons. These will be your weapons once you enter the shop after beating wave 6. If you have enough materials, purchase the saved items, and then reroll AGAIN, even if you only have 1 spot in the shop that isn’t locked. This will add ANOTHER weapon, giving you 3 weapons to start the following wave.

NOTE: Each reroll usually adds another weapon, even if you have the other 3 spots locked in the shop. It is not 100% guaranteed, but I didn’t get a weapon in only 2 rerolls during the entire run.

After the set up for wave 6, each time you enter the shop will look like the following:

1. Buy the 2-4 weapons you “Saved” from the previous wave.
2. This opens up either an extra free reroll (if you bought the 4 items/weapons), or opens up 3 spots for a new reroll, one of which will guarantee another weapons, and a lot of the time 2 weapons.
3. Buy the new weapon(s) (to have 4-5), and reroll again to set yourself for the following wave.
4. Repeat this for every wave to guarantee you have enough firepower to make it through each wave.

After wave 5, you’ll need at least 4 weapons per wave.
After wave 10, you’ll need at least 5 weapons per wave.
After wave 15, 6 weapons is really helpful but it not always possible.
Tier 3 weapons will cost about 20-25 and Tier 4 weapons will cost about 30-35.

For additional boosts from leveling up, focus on small boosts across the board – at least 5 melee and ranged damage, at least 10 dodge and speed, 20 luck, 15 HP regen, 5-10 armor. Since the weapons are cheap, you will be buying more items than normal. Obviously, getting another Dangerous Bunny item is helpful for additional free rerolls. Extra trees, combined with turrets spawning from tress are also really helpful. Finally, I thought items with XP gains were very beneficial for this run.
