To unlock Baby, you need to obtain Fast Learner first by reaching level 10 before wave 6:
I had no problem getting that using Mutant on Danger 0, just going for anything that gave XP gain and more enemies.
Completing Danger 0 with Baby is kind of a blast. I used sticks as my only weapons, because the stick bonus keeps going up as you add more sticks. Concentrate on more XP, especially at the beginning, and re-rolls to fill out all your weapon slots with more sticks. Pick either health regen or life steal to tank up a bit, and you should have no problem. By the end, you can have 20 sticks or more. Even the level 1 (black background) sticks will be doing 90 damage with 21 sticks, and each upgrade adds 40 more damage (20 additional sticks * 2 extra damage). On Danger 0, the boss melted in about 20 seconds.

This character is a lot of fun. You get no stat upgrades from leveling. Instead, you get to carry an additional weapon, up to a max of 24 weapons. This is crazy to build and watch. The only downside is your XP Gain isn't great. So, pump some boosts into XP gain and you'll reach 24 weapons by Wave 20, and have a blast with all the firepower.
