How to unlock the Chunky achievement in Brotato - Definitive Guide
This character's loadout lends itself to:
- gaining as much max HP as possible
- reducing incoming damage via armour
- eating food to heal
I also recommend completing a run as Multitasker before attempting Chunky, so that you can unlock and use the Chopper melee weapon. Each Chopper you have increases the HP you recover from eating food by 1 point. At tier IV this increases to 2 points. I completed this on danger 5 on my first attempt, starting with the Chopper and by the end having 3 tier III Choppers and 3 at tier IV.
You are going to want to prioritise:
- Max HP
- Armour
- Trees
- Items which increase HP recovery from food (Lemonade, Weird Food)
Melee damage and attack speed are good ways to get the damage output you need alongside the damage bonus for max HP. Also, the damage on the Chopper scales with max HP (50% melee damage + 20% max HP). If you get enough armour you should become tanky enough that it's difficult to die. However, bullets can be an issue in groups, so stay aware of where the food is on the map so that you can move towards it if you need to (often through enemies). By the end of my run I had 180+ max HP and was healing 20+ HP each time I picked up food. I was also doing enough damage to take down elites and the final two bosses.
Hope this helps!
