Without using the explorer you need a minimum of 4 Tree items (and to get very lucky) or 5 Trees to spawn 10+ trees on a regular size map. You can also set the game to infinite and as long as you get past level 20 you'll still get credit for "beating" a run with whatever character you pick once you die.

Also any tree perks that spawn more trees also change settings to manual aim so you don’t kill the trees or and maybe get a melee build too so you don’t by mistake shoot one.
Try get the tree perk too I got lucky and unlocked this achievement by wave 4

Using Explorer, I got the achievement on Wave 2 of Danger 0, I picked the rock so I wouldn't accidentally shoot any trees. It's super easy if you use Explorer :)
