On Chapter 1, when you arrive at an area with the rabbits & sheep and before going across the platform, you will see a caged bird near the treadmill. Interact with the cage to free the bird.
The second part of the achievement takes place in Chapter 4, just after you unlock the Windpipe achievement:
After unlocking the windpipe achievement, you will make your way down the stairs past the professor. On the way, you will see a telescope, interact with it as either brother and look near the bottom right where you'll notice the same bird sitting on a tree stem. Zoom in with
for the achievement to unlock.Note: If you forget to free the bird in Chapter 1 and finished the game, simply select Chapter 1 from the Chapter select menu and free the bird but continue playing until the save icon appears. Now quit to the menu and select Chapter 4 and play until you telescope the bird which should unlock the achievement.
If you freed the bird in Chapter 1 but forgot to telescope it in Chapter 4 and finished the game, simply select Chapter 4 directly and play until you telescope the bird which will unlock the achievement.
I don't know why it took me so long to realize I can zoom in.

In Chapter 1, near the sheep bridge where you unlock Bunny Buddies & Black Sheep, before crossing the bridge, make sure you head to the right of the crank on the balcony area and interact with the bird cage to set the bird free.
Step 2:
During after the Windpipe achievement in Chapter 4 (near the inventor), head down towards the wind glider and use the telescope halfway down the stairs. From the starting position, aim down and to the right to find a bird sitting on a branch and then zoom in to unlock the achievement.
Note: If gaining this achievement through Chapter Select, complete the part in Chapter 1 and then continue to a checkpoint. Now back out to the main menu, and select Chapter 4 playing up until you unlock the achievement.

This trophy consists of two separate parts. The first is in chapter 1 just past the section where the dog chases the two brothers between the hay bails at the farm. Once you have crossed the water and climbed up the vines you will come to a wall which you must climb. At the top of the wall you will see a bird inside a cage. You must release the bird from the cage with the younger brother by pressing 
. The older brother will simply whistle and not open the cage door.
The second part for this trophy is in chapter 4 at the professor's/inventor's station. As you walk down the boardwalk towards the flying apparatus you will see a mounted telescope. Simply press action with either of the brothers to use it (
or ) and look down to the right of the castle in front of you and you will see a single bird sitting on a tree branch. Zoom in with the left analog stick and keep watching and another will land on the branch where they will begin to sing and woo one another before flying away.
Note- If you missed this trophy on your first playthrough, you don't need to playthrough an entire second time to trigger both of the above parts for the trophy. Once you release the bird for the first part in chapter one, continue till the game saves and then quit out and play chapter 4 in the chapter select screen for the second part. This will save you about an hour as you won't need to playthrough chapter two or three. Thanks to GAZDAN for pointing this out.
Furthermore, if you completed the first part but not the second part of the trophy, you will only need to go back and replay chapter 4. Once you spot the birds through the telescope the trophy will unlock. Thanks to tincann for confirming this.
